The Dart Zone Max Solo has become a personal favorite. It's essentially a deployable, breech-loadable, pro-performance Jolt! But have you ever thought, "The Solo is nice, but it needs higher capacity?" Well, our buddy Luchathor designed a Mod Kit that does just that!
This "Yolo" Mod Kit combines the compact, collapsible nature of the Solo with the unique moving barrel breech of the Worker Cheetah 2.0, making for a low-profile, mag-fed backup blaster.
Luchathor brought prototypes of the Yolo Kit with him to Ragnarocktoberfest, and we knew we had to offer it on the shop check it out through the link below!

***IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT ABOUT THE XYL UNICORN TACTICAL EDITION!!!***
Because of the missing pre-order shipment earlier this year, XYL felt the pressure to deliver the new Unicorn Tactical Edition blaster without any further delays. Because of this, some quality checks were expedited or omitted from their production process. Additionally, the instructions included with this batch did not elaborate on assembly differences between the Original Unicorn and the Tactical Unicorn.
After hearing from customers about these errors, we started a rigorous process for every Uni-Tac that leaves the warehouse and marked them with an “OOD QC” sticker. This afternoon, we also published a “Tips + Tricks” video to help all users confirm our quality-checking process, assemble their blaster, and perform basic tuning and maintenance.
We understand and share the frustration that many received blasters that were literally rough around the edges. We know what the Tactical Unicorn is capable of, and we are strongly committed to improving your experience with the blaster. If you have any questions or experience any new issues with the XYL Unicorn Tactical Edition, don’t hesitate to contact us, and we’ll do our best to make it right.

Today, we're checking out the Nerf Pro Torrent!
This is Nerf's second-ever super-stock blaster and the first springer in the Nerf Pro line -- something they claimed they would not be releasing. As far as ergonomics and aesthetics, it's got a lot of things going for it, including a unique wraparound shell as the prime, a hidden N-Strike stock attachment point, and an angled talon magwell, making it the smallest primary-class pro-level springers currently available. Unfortunately, some have experienced quality control and consistency issues, and we can count ourselves among them. But, while it's currently on sale for $20, this blaster is still worth picking up and trying for yourself.

What mods would you like to see us offer for the Dart Zone Venom Pro?
A few days ago, DrFlux shared the results of his most recent YouTube Poll, and we were surprised to learn just how many people prefer the Venom over the Maxim. However, it's not hard to see why! Far from just a "budget Nightingale," The Dart Zone Venom Pro is a complete package of the blaster, mags, darts, and a battery for only $50! That's a considerable value! Additionally, the blaster uses mini wheels to achieve higher performance more easily (and quietly) than Worker's micro-wheels can. While there are some issues with this implementation of a backstrap rev and the overall ergonomics, it's still worth considering picking up
Admittedly, when the Maxim Pro came out, we were "all hands on deck" with new mod parts and kits, but we hardly gave the same attention to Dart Zone's other flywheeler offering of the summer. Give us time, though! We're already revisiting the flood of summer releases and evaluating their potential for upcoming mod parts on the shop.
