I’m taking a break from YouTube
This morning I received an email from YouTube stating that my channel is no longer eligible for the YouTube Partner Program (YPP), due to reused content. This is not the first time it happened, this also happened exactly 3 years ago. At that time I tried everything I could to get in the YouTube Partner Program again, so I could receive my Silver Creator Award. After 1,5 years of reaching out to YouTube and deleting over 750 videos I finally got in the YPP again. The channel still wasn't eligible to receive the creator award according to YouTube, but after a work around I still managed to receive my Silver Creator Award on October 30th 2020 (Thanks to @JackSucksAtLife for the inspiration).
The past months my motivation to make the videos is a bit less than usual, one of the reasons is because I achieved my goals for this channel. I also have a fulltime job and sometimes it's a little hard to combine.
I’m very grateful for getting the opportunity to work with all those great artists and labels. And I’m very proud that I started a channel from zero and now have 175k subscribers and almost 75 million views. I couldn’t have done this without all the artists, subscribers and viewers, so thank you all for that!

Exactly one year ago (May 19th 2019) this channel reached 100K subs and now we already have 140K subs 🎉 Thank you all for supporting this channel!
Unfortunately I also have some bad news. When I started this channel one of my goals was reaching 100K subs and receiving the Silver Creator Award. Unfortunately I never got the notification to redeem the award. Past year I tried multiple things, hoping I would get the notification but nothing helped. The past month I’ve been in contact with YouTube and the only way to get a change to receive the Silver Creator Award is to remove a lot of copyrighted content from the channel. It was a difficult decision for me, but last weekend I removed almost half of the videos on my channel.
I also have updated all the playlists on the channel and the tracklists of the monthly mixes (I will still be uploading the monthly mixes).
I can understand that some of you are disappointed that I removed the videos and that these videos also have been removed from personal playlists. I also want to apologize to the artists, for removing their music from my channel. Before I deleted the videos I made an Excel sheet including all the videos that are removed, the amount of views it had and the date it was published. If you are interested in this you can contact me by mail.
I hope you can understand my decision to remove the videos and I also hope this wasn't all for nothing.
