更重要的是，这个标准强调了学习者在跨文化交流中的适应能力和敏感度，而这种敏感度和共情能力是在真实课堂和生活中才能学到的。
在这一过程中，语言老师的角色变得更加重要了，因为老师们不再仅仅是知识的传授者，更是引导学生跨越语言和文化障碍的桥梁。
