Although often considered "exotic" by some, goldfish are indisputably "domesticated" by every metric. And just like other domesticated animals, populations not only survive in the wild, they thrive to the detriment of native wildlife, often outcompeting them.

Impossible. This is a domesticated animal. We all know domesticated animals cannot be aggressive.

If you've heard of Flaco the Owl, was leaving him free in the wild right?

Y'know, it's kind of sad that it takes such an egregious incident to be filmed in its entirety to finally get people to pay attention. But I am grateful this was filmed. Now authorities can be seen KILLING our pets on NBC News.

And even though the main focus seems to be the pregnant boa that was killed by accident, what really needs to be emphasized is that these animals were legal before someone decided they weren't. I'm still confused as to why this happened when Florida lawmakers claimed they would be grandfathered in.

Now, as they plan to put more animals on ban lists, this incident and the notoriety it is gathering will be glued in their minds. They know that their folly has been put on a national platform for the world to see. Finally, exotic pet owners are getting acknowledgment for this BS we have to put up with.

Thank GOODNESS for the person who had the foresight to record. We know damn well no one would care without this "shocking" video.

Foxes kinda look like dogs, but they are certainly not dogs. Yet, these normally elusive creatures are cozying up to humans in the wild. The fact that they have SO much in common with dogs, including replicating their path to domestication, really shows us how absurd the belief that "wild" animals can't be domesticated truly is. And if they are domesticated, why shouldn't they be legal in all 50 states?
