"I #GiveThanks for so many things, beginning with my gratitude to the Lord Jesus Christ. I am so thankful for His mercy and kindness and for His love for each of us. I marvel at His matchless power to heal us from sadness, from sorrow, and, yes, from sin. He is the Master Healer. It is one of the many sterling attributes of His incomparable life.

"When we experience difficult trials, the best thing we can do is deepen our faith in God and serve others. Then He will heal our broken hearts. He will bless us with peace of mind.

"I assure you that Jesus Christ is our Savior and our Master Healer." —President Russell M. Nelson

"More than 2,000 years ago, our Savior Jesus Christ ministered to the world, establishing His Church and His gospel. He called Apostles and gave them the decree to 'go ye therefore, and teach all nations.'

"In our day, the Lord’s Church has been restored. The Savior stands at the head of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. As modern-day Apostles of Jesus Christ, the message we share today is the same message that Apostles shared long ago—that God lives and that Jesus is the Christ.

"As one of His special witnesses, I testify that because the Savior offered Himself as the infinite Atonement, you and I have the opportunity—the privilege—to be forgiven when we repent. We can also turn to Him for healing of our hearts, for strength when we are weak, and for help to do things we simply cannot do on our own. He taught us how to love, how to pray, how to endure. There’s no trial we can endure that He doesn’t know about. He gives each one of us hope.

"I am honored to be listed among the many who teach and testify of the Lord Jesus Christ. He is the Savior of the world, and He has given us an example by which we can live.

"Because of Jesus Christ, we can have access to power sufficient to deal with the burdens, obstacles, and temptations of our day. He delivers us from physical and spiritual death. I love and testify of Him." —President Russell M. Nelson

"The Book of Mormon is filled with truth. If you read it daily, you will have more truth and power in your life. It teaches us about the premortal world and the purpose of life. It gives more understanding about the Atonement of Jesus Christ than any other book of scripture and teaches us about the reality of God the Father, His Son Jesus Christ, and the holy priesthood. Studying daily from its pages will affect your life in a way no other book can.

"If you will feast on the words of Christ found throughout the Book of Mormon, I promise that you will have greater power to resist temptation, increased ability to receive revelation, and greater capacity to deal with the challenges of life." —President Russell M. Nelson

“My best memory of general conference was the very first time I watched it with my family in April 2017.

"We had been looking into The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints for a few months and taking lessons from our local sister missionaries. These two very special missionaries made us feel so cared for and loved. Our boys also loved their presence and looked forward to our lessons with them.

"They invited us to watch conference for the first time, but we had planned to go on a weekend getaway with our kids instead; however, God had other plans for our family. A few days before our trip, all four of us came down with strep throat and so we stayed home and decided to give general conference a try.

"Our missionaries were so kind to bring coloring sheets, activities, and little Book of Mormon figurines for our boys. Their kindness is something I will never forget. While we sat there watching with open hearts and open minds, we were filled with so much emotion and happiness. There were several talks that I truly felt were written just for me.

"The spirit and peace that filled our home was also something I will forever remember. My husband and I looked at each other and instantly knew what the other was thinking. With tears in my eyes, I said to him, 'I want to be baptized,' to which he replied, 'Let’s do it!' We were baptized as members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints a few weeks later on April 29, 2017.” —Natalie

“My husband and I were living in different countries for a few years while he was finishing medical school. In 2019, I had the strongest feeling that I needed to move my family to be in Ghana with my husband. I had been pondering, and it took a lot of consideration to make that decision. I had worked so hard for the job I had, and it was a difficult decision to make. But I just had the strongest feeling that we needed to leave. Those around me questioned what I was doing. Then, when the pandemic started, I knew why we needed to leave so we could be together. I know Heavenly Father gives mothers revelation to do what’s best for their children and their families. Now I know if I hear His voice again, I know not to doubt.

“Sometimes I physically hear the voice of the Spirit, loud and clear. I’ve felt it in my life through different warnings and promptings. Sometimes it’s a battle, wondering if it’s Heavenly Father telling me or just my thoughts.

“If you sincerely ask, God will tell you. He does not want ill for you. After two or three times when I’ve heard his voice and thought, ‘It couldn’t be true; it couldn’t be Him,’ I’ve learned that His voice makes sense. When you start to doubt, the devil gets a chance to creep in. I know if I hear His voice again, whether it be an actual physical feeling of a voice or if I feel it in the depths of my soul, I know not to doubt it again.” —Gifty

“I was born and raised in Kahuku, Oahu. My dad was a tough, hardworking guy; he always worked hard to pay for a roof over our heads and food on our table. But he was also so faithful to God. A couple of years ago, my dad had two strokes and a heart attack all pretty close to the same time. A year after that, his kidneys started to fail. He passed away a few months later.

“I started to take music seriously and make that an important part of my life after my dad died. I wasn’t succeeding the way I wanted to right away. My confidence was low, and I didn’t want to keep embarrassing myself by trying and failing again. My mom pushed me to keep going forward. I kept going. As I pursued different opportunities in music, I didn’t want to talk about my dad and get these new opportunities because they felt bad for me. As I was asked how I got into music, I realized I had to talk about my dad because he is a huge part of my story. His story is my story, and I didn’t need to ‘hide it.’

“Recently, a friend asked me about my faith. At first, it seemed like he was trying to make me feel dumb for believing what I do, but as I was willing to talk with him and share my feelings, I learned he was genuinely curious. We began to have an actual conversation. As I answered his questions, he would ask something else, and it gave me the chance to speak up and share from a sincere place. If I didn’t know the answer, I would tell him, ‘I don’t know that yet.’ And he was fine hearing that because he knew I was trying. I thank my mom for teaching me to have courage; she has always pushed me to share what I believe. My faith in God and Jesus Christ is a part of my story. Their story is my story.

“I choose to follow Christ because of how I begin to feel when I follow Him. The difference in how I feel between reading scriptures and not—and praying or not—is super apparent. I have seen a lot and I can’t deny. There is no way I can deny that my Savior is there for me because He is. That’s the main reason why I started sharing my faith; because what I have seen and heard, there is no way that I can deny. My faith in Jesus Christ is a part of my story. His story is my story.” —Iam

“When I started attending church with my wife a few years ago, I noticed I was the only person of color in the congregation. But that didn’t stop me from finding my place within the body of Christ.

“To help me with my concerns, my wife insisted we start having the missionaries visit our home. I had lots of questions about the Church’s history and beliefs on certain topics, so I wrote them all down in hopes of finding answers at our next meeting. Without even asking them a single thing, the missionaries answered every last question I had written down. I could tell there was something special here.

“I felt peace and love listening to the Christ-centered messages shared by the speakers as I continued going to church each week. It wasn’t helpful for me to worry about anyone’s opinion of me because it distracted from the spiritual feelings entering my heart.

“After missionaries taught me that everyone is a child of God, I remembered the scripture they shared that says, “He denieth none that come unto him, black and white, bond and free, male and female” (2 Nephi 26:33). This truth spoke directly to my heart, and I knew without a doubt that this is what I needed in my life.

“Since joining the Church a few years ago, I’ve been given opportunities to speak in church, teach classes, offer prayers, and serve people who look nothing like me. What’s important is that all of God’s children feel Jesus’s love no matter who they are or what they look like. I really believe the blessings of the gospel and the Atonement of Jesus Christ are for everyone.” —Vincent

“A few months before April 2018 general conference, I got to a point in my life where I felt I wasn’t receiving enough guidance and revelation from the Lord. I felt I wasn’t hearing Him enough. There were several prayers I felt were unanswered, and I began to feel left alone by the Lord.

“I knew something had to be done, but I wasn’t sure what it was. Hence, I attended the conference hoping to listen to talks and music that [would] give answers to my prayers. I told the Lord I wanted Him to speak to me.

“The Lord indeed spoke to me on that day. I heard several talks about being guided by the Holy Ghost as well as President Nelson’s talk on ‘Revelation for the Church, Revelation for Our Lives,’ and I felt the messages were directly to me.

“He said, ‘Nothing opens the heavens quite like the combination of increased purity, exact obedience, earnest seeking, daily feasting on the words of Christ in the Book of Mormon, and regular time committed to temple and family history work.’

“And I knew for sure that what he said is true. Through general conference, the Lord directed me in the most clear and direct way so that I could recognize it as ‘my message’ from the Lord.” —Priscilla
