I was cleaning out the lab today and found that my base bath has almost completely evaporated after around 1-2 years. There was MASSIVE potassium hydroxide crystals in there. Here is a shot of the intricate slow crystallization process!

Shoutout to @YouTube for completely removing my methylamine hcl video and giving me a warning on my channel. The video will be uploaded again with some minor adjustments to “fit” the guidelines. I have had this video up for around 1.5 years. They denied my appeal immediately and I know for a fact they did not review it at all. EDSA content is allowed with harmful substances. The “S” stands for scientific. Apparently me showing how to make this reagent, going over the mechanism, and showcasing organic chemistry techniques were not apart of science.
