A new adventure begins - an epic journey across China, traveling overland between Beijing and the far west of Xinjiang. My mission is to connect with the different cultures along the way, and see how people live in this fascinating and vast country.
I hope you enjoy the latest video, and this series as it unfolds. It's taking my content into a new more personal form, focusing on the people more than the places and sights. What I see as the future of my channel.

I'm back in the Middle East and working hard on filming some new content.
Currently in Jordan but will be back to Saudi Arabia soon with a pretty flexible itinerary. I'll be flying into Riyadh and Abha/Jazan/Farasan Island & around is a must for me. Let me know any other places you'd like me to film!

I'm super excited to be sharing this special video with you for what is Easter Weekend in my part of the world!
Tomorrow (Saturday 19th April) at 16:00 CET I will show Meghalaya - A part of India mostly only known to local tourism.
Known as the "Abode of Clouds", it's home to incredible landscapes, beautiful waterfalls, tribal traditions and bridges made from the living roots of trees.
It's also home to Mawlynnong, often celebrated as the "Cleanest Village in Asia". And yes, you heard correctly - The "Cleanest Village in Asia" is in India!
I really hope you enjoy this one, it's a really special place, and a place that's been high on my list.
About to leave for my next trip to Saudi Arabia and the Middle East...

Don't worry folks, as promised I'll still be going back to Saudi Arabia. However an opportunity came up to get back to India and visit Maha Kumbh Mela. This is something I couldn't miss! The biggest human gathering the world has even seen, spread over 45 days with an anticipated 450 MILLION visitors!
The 2025 Maha Kumbh Mela is particularly special because it coincides with a rare celestial alignment that occurs only every 144 years. Truly a once in a lifetime event.
Come along and I'll give my perspective on this incredible meeting of humanity.
I'm hoping to return to the Saudi Arabia and the Middle East sometime after Ramadan.

I'd love to know where you would like me to film next. I'm leaning towards returning to India (possibly focussed on Rajasthan) as there's SO much to explore in this amazing country!

Hey! I'm Chris and I'm an English expat who has spent most of his adult life living and traveling outside of his home country.
Rather than doing the usual mid-life crisis thing of buying myself a motorbike or a sports car, I bought myself some camera equipment and started sharing my travel experiences with the world.
I hope to bring a different perspective to many of the (great!) younger vloggers out there as I travel to places both old and new to me.
