This rod is 100% U.S.-made, sourced from local businesses in the Pacific Northwest, and proudly crafted by Lenard Rainwaters, a skilled artisan and rod builder from Battle Ground, WA. The design captures the essence of the Puget Sound, engineered to perform in windy conditions and durable enough to withstand the rigors of our harsh saltwater environments.
I've partnered with industry innovators to bring you the best fly rod for our local beaches. The new SRC6 series is an exclusive, limited-run build, with each rod individually numbered. Guides (US Made)
Our rods feature industry-leading Snake Brand Guides with Universal E Coat, made in Battle Ground WA. Constructed from 17-4 stainless steel and coated with a proprietary, eco-friendly finish, these guides are free of carcinogens, 100% ROHS compliant, and hardened to a 62 Rockwell hardness. They have been salt fog tested for 2000 hours, showing zero corrosion, ensuring they can withstand the harsh conditions of saltwater estuaries, such as those in the Puget Sound.
Reel Seats (Hand-picked by me and US Made)
The reel seats feature inserts made from stabilized natural woods. Mike and his team meticulously select, cut, and refine only the finest local woods, including Spalted Maple Burl, California Grown Spalted Buckeye Burl, Old Growth Redwood, Spalted Alder from the Toutle River area of Mt. St. Helens, and dyed woods. Each insert is 100% natural, with no stickers or decals. The reel seat hardware is crafted by Lemke Concepts in Sutherlin, OR.
Grips (US Made)
Our hand-selected and machined agglomerated cork grips and fighting butts are made from 100% recycled cork, sourced from the food industry and used in whiskey and wine bottle stoppers.
