Colin Hassard is a poet from Banbridge, Northern Ireland.
He was Runner Up in the Seamus Heaney Award for New Writing 2018 and has twice represented Ulster at the All-Ireland Poetry Slam Final. Colin is a regular poet on BBC Radio Ulster and has performed his work on Sky One. He has been the support act for Tony ‘Longfella’ Walsh and legendary punk-poet John Cooper Clarke. In 2021, Colin is releasing his debut poetry collection 'Age of the Microwave Dinner' through Doire Press. He is the current Writer-in-Residence for the Duncairn Arts Centre in Belfast
