Shannon Jackson, The People's Nurse is a Media / Entertainment personality and the host of her weekly podcast titled "Living Your Life Without Limits."
She is also a Certified Nurse Coach and a Certified Life Coach. This July, Shannon will be celebrating her 30th year of nursing.
Throughout her career, Mrs. Jackson has won countless awards and achievements. At age 35, she became the first female and the first African American to be hired as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) of the Los Angeles Metropolitan Hospital Systems. Shannon has dedicated her life and career to service. She currently travels the globe as a motivational speaker encouraging others to find and sustain their purpose. In fact, her philanthropic efforts in her own community of Compton, California grabbed the attention of the Kelly Clarkson Show. Shannon was featured as a guest to highlight her “Street Love” program she created to help educate and provide resources to the underserved.
