Years ago, there was a boy in my former community whom I loved like a son. Bright, talented, full of promise, I truly believed he had a brilliant future ahead. Then, drugs took hold of him. The pain was unbearable. I wept for him, for the life stolen too soon. When I returned home in 2021, I longed to see him but couldn’t bring myself to face what he’d become, partly because of my hectic schedule touring the country, but mostly because my heart couldn’t bear it. Even now, I wonder: If I had stayed, could I have saved him?
Losing someone to drugs doesn’t just break hearts, it shatters families. Mothers, fathers, siblings, friends, no one is immune. Today, it’s someone else’s child; tomorrow, it could be yours.

Last October, we secured our office space for
Guangzhou Liberia Shipping & Logistics Trading Limited. Filled with excitement to officially begin operations once our company registration was complete. But just two weeks later, life had other plans. I fell seriously ill, and what we thought would be a brief setback stretched through December and beyond.
Entering 2025, we held onto hope, but my health took priority as my condition worsened. As someone who thrives on meeting goals, it wasn’t easy to pause our plans..but my incredible husband reminded me daily that nothing matters more than my well-being. I thank God for bringing such a supportive, steady presence into my life, always breathing hope into me when I needed it most.
In February, I underwent fibroid removal surgery, followed by a necessary season of healing and recovery. Through it all, we’ve learned a profound lesson: God’s timing is everything. It’s not about when “we” want things to happen, but when “He” ordains them. And today, we’re overjoyed to finally step into this long-awaited moment.

Living in China has taught me so many things, given me countless opportunities, and enriched me with invaluable experiences.
In 2018, I walked into an air cargo agency while searching for a trusted company to handle a DHL shipment. When I asked if they could ship to Liberia, their answer was a hesitant, “Once in a while.” I glanced at the list of countries displayed on their wall and noticed my beloved Liberia was missing.
“Why isn’t it listed?” I asked.
Their reply: “We barely have clients from that country.”
I requested a pen, added Liberia’s name to the list, and assured the owner, “I’ll make sure to ship with you every time.” That moment marked the birth of everything you see here today. As I visited other agencies, I encountered the same story. Right then, I vowed to myself: This cannot be Liberia’s narrative.
Over the years, I watched with pride as more businesses and companies were established by foreigners, especially Africans in China. Witnessing fellow Africans open and own companies here filled me with immense joy. That’s when the dream took root: to start my own company, one that would represent my country with pride.

One of the best parts of what I do is meeting with Bosses and CEOs of companies. I learn so much from them about business and hospitality.
They took us out for dinner, and I kid you not it was more than a buffet. There were delicious dishes of all kinds! Locals will feed you until your stomach says, "I can’t taykay anymore!" 😩🥰
Sidebar: One night, I was walking in my neighborhood in LIB when I overheard a group of guys talking. One of them said, “Even in China, the food business is hard.” 😩 That was the day I walked up to them for the first time, spoke up, and corrected them because that statement wasn’t true at all. Then I turned and left. 😹😂

I don’t have any photo-shoot pics for this year birthday, just the reality of life and what I’ve gone tru for the past 8yrs, all summed up in these photos below.
5 months ago, God saved me from the claws of death, but since then it had been prayer to just make it tru to another day. Living 8 years with Fibroid has been very trying.
My story will come later.
The doctors said it was 4pcs of Myomas(Fibroids) after the ultrasound, and the surgery would be 2 hours long, but it lasted 6 hours plus, and 47 pieces came out.
Like how? How was I living with these things? My God has given me another chance.
Just help me thank God for life. 🙏🏾
