Salvete! I'm back posting once more, this time to say that I have finally completed the Dark Souls trilogy. Playing this reminds me in many ways of Elden Ring, and in other ways not. The movement starting out was so great, I felt like a man freed from prison after having played Dark Souls II (which is still a good game, just it isn't the best).

Dark Souls III, while sadly a rather short game in comparison to it's previous two titles, was such a great experience, with so many cool bosses to fight and master, many different armours to try on, and some really cool characters and questlines (many of which I regrettably didn't finish or perhaps missed aside from Seigward and Lapp).

This is definitely a game I plan to come back to, either in NG+ or modded or what have you. I'd say this currently ranks 2nd in place for me when it comes to Souls games.

Anyway -- until next time, this has been Caesar Anubis. Valete!

P.S. Don't let the Fire die out like I did (even though I do think it's a fitting way to end the trilogy).

Salvete! It's been a little while, but I have finally beat Dark Souls II (Scholar of the First Sin). This is a game in the Souls series that I knew least about, so I'm happy to have gone in more or less spoiler-free.

DSII was a good bit more challenging than DSI, but I managed to beat it regardless. With a start that arguably is a bit rougher compared to some other Souls games (despite it not having a trial boss at the beginning you need to try and overcome), it is an experience that can bring both much enjoyment and frustration along the way, something of which I can confirm.

While I don't think DSII ranks high compared to the other Souls titles I've played (it does have its issues, something of which I can go into at another time), it is not the horrible, badly-made game some people claim it to be, so I would certainly recommend you check this title out and play it for yourself - at least for a single playthrough.

Until next time, this has been Caesar Anubis. Valete!

Salvete! It's been a while, but I have finally beat Dark Souls Remastered. I decided to start over with a new, melee-based Warrior character after I couldn't make any headway with what was my Pyro-Dex build (not a very good combo, at least in this game). Took me a week to finish it, and I'm glad it's done. A great game, an absolute classic, but I'm happy to finally move on.

Anyway, until next time, this has been Caesar Anubis. Valete!

So, I know that I haven't streamed in a while, and that's for two main reasons. One, life, and two, playing the DLC. It is my hope and intention to resume streaming once I complete the DLC and get everything that is to be gotten.
Now, having played the DLC thus far, my original intention as to where I was going to take things with my optimized build has changed (I've since been using the Great Katana and Backhand Blade, both with can be gotten early on in the DLC, both of which I've taken a great liking to), so I don't know how I will proceed, but until then, I am going to continue my journey in the Land of Shadow.
Take care, y'all!

Salvete Amici!

I just finished the original Resident Evil 2 for PC as Leon (said part will be coming out on Friday, the 25th of August at 12PM EST).

I'm so happy to have played this game, and yet so relieved to have finished it. It may be an older game that can be tough at times, it is absolutely still an enjoyable experience. I hope to play (at some point in the near future anyway) the other games in the series, both the originals and remakes alike.

But until we meet again in the streets of Racoon City, valete y'all!

For the first time in more or less 5 years, I'm sick... with a cold and sore throat. So unfortunately, there will be no God of War this week. Hopefully I can do so next week (God-willing).
