DeepPlants was created by a group of Sapienza University researchers with an experience in Deep Learning, Computer Vision, AI, Computer Graphics and Complex Systems. The team's idea is to propose solutions of different natures applicable to various fields related to global warming.
We think of solutions that have monitoring, detection, recognition, prediction, visualization, data collection and simulation as common factors.
The main DeepPlants endeavour is to develop action plans that allow companies to address sustainability issues.
On the one hand, we want to help companies better understand the risks and opportunities that climate change presents by monitoring and predicting specific effects and cases. On the other hand, we want to help companies that already provide net positive solutions for the climate, such as plant factories, to improve their optimization and control.
