Hi everyone! I have not uploaded something for a long while as I have been busy with a variety of things.
My loyal friend and pet Eva has found peace and has passed, and is burried in my yard. It happened in our home, the vet came here and a friend was present. The end was very calm and few dogs are lucky enough to pass in the safety of their home.
My company had some struggles lately as the government needs to save a lot of money to join NATO, and much of that money comes from the health care, which has made it harder to get a decent contract.
Another setback was the new Google Pixel 7 Pro phone that I bought because of the excellent camera. As I was walking the dog in Northern Sweden, we had almost -40 (Which in a fun coincidence is exactly the same in Celsius as in Fahrenhet!). Something that wasn't fun though was that the camera lens glass cracked from being in that cold temperature as I entered the house, from the difference in degrees. Google offers no support in Sweden so I left the phone in a repair shop, but the camera itself had been damaged beyond repair. So I now need a new phone again and I just spent 1200$ on that one, not too long ago.
On top of that I had some struggles with my health. I have been diagnosed with Diabetes and Osteoporosis. On top of that I do have the Cystic Fibrosis and had liver failure and problem with the gall bladder, resulting in me having to take a break from the Trikafta life saving medication. But I am since 2 days back on it again, thank God.
I know these breaks are somewhat recurring on the channel, and I apologize for that. But there are 414 videos on my channel so if you ever feel like you miss new videos, there might be an old one that you have not yet watched. I try to keep them entertaining, even if they are long.
I am not sure when I will be back, but know that I am here. I am also aware that I sometimes post these videos or written posts where a lot of stuff is going on in my life. I do not mean to be negative but I have befriended many of the people who enjoy this channel and community, so I just want to communicate what is going on, I am not looking for pity or favor. There are a lot of things in my life to be greatful for. My lovely dog Joseph, friends, family, my company, my education, being born in a country without poverety or corruption. Having about 200 WW2 solo board games also makes life kinda cool! The friendships I made in the board game community is also something that I am greatful for, and I enjoy the many conversations that I have and had.
Anyway, see you guys later! Take care and may the dice roll in your favor, which ever game you play!

Hi guys. Sorry if I am slow at answering comments and emails. News episodes and channel updates are also delayed. My first priority now is taking care of my sick dog, and will be for the future weeks/months. But you know that I have always been back, since this channel started 5 years ago! Thank you for your support and patience.

Please pray for my dog Eva 🙏 She was diagnosed with lymphoma yesterday and has a very short time left to live. She is given cortisone in high doses and with a bit of luck she can live 1-2 more months. I am on a work assignment in northern Sweden until January 24th and all I want is for her to be able to survive until we go back home, so that she can pass away in an environment that is known for her and feels secure and comfortable. Then also friends and family can be present. This dog has been loyal and friendlier than any dog I've ever met. She doesn't deserve to go out up here, right now. In -30 degrees, darkness 24 hours a day and in an unknown place. Please pray for her.

First game of "Stalingrad Advance to the Volga" ends in operational victory. I played with the optional rules for isolated Soviet units and increased German supplies. My tactic was to isolate the 11 Soviet areas to the north west and generally avoid the Soviets next to the Volga, besides one Heavy urban (which is required to win an operational victory). 41 areas in the end, the Soviets had 9 left and 2 of those were contested. An incredible solo experience.
