In an interview with FAI TV Marc Canham said "The update on the managerial job is not concluded, they hope to have a manager in place for the Uefa Nations League games, and they want a manager with club and international experience."
He is hopeful that John O'Shea would continue on as interim manager for the 2 games in June."The expectation is that we will have an interim head coach. We would like that to be John O'Shea. We're talking to him at the moment and hope to confirm that as soon as possible."
