Notice of Hiatus, Indefinite //
On Sunday 07 August, video uploads will cease as a result of imminent changes to personal circumstances that affect my means of archival and schedule. Existing uploads will remain available unless removed by necessity or otherwise superseded.
Whether or not this hiatus is temporary is currently unknown and I encourage those who have had particular use of channel's archival format to adjust accordingly:
Alternatives // The archive format on this channel aimed to serve a small viewer-niche who preferred to view VODs (1) on YouTube, (2) on mobile devices, and (3) while enjoying the benefits of YouTube Premium, such as video downloading and an ad-free experience. Viewers *not* meeting all three criteria may find viewing solutions featured in Jerma Stream Archive [With Chat]'s "Where to watch Jerma Streams with Chat" video to suffice as alternatives, while viewers who do may need to find other archival methods.
////////// Sharing My Personal Archive Templates //////////

Inventory:
- Thumbnail Templates (regular and "split") in Photoshop Document format.
- YouTube Title and Description Template in Google Sheets, with information manually retrieved from twitchtracker.com/jerma985/streams.
- FrankerFaceZ Settings; Importable through configuration screen of the FrankerFaceZ browser extension to match chat appearance, though the only change of note is chat font set to 16.
- OBS Scene Template; Importable to OBS to match capture of a 1920 x 1080 full-screen browser window of Twitch in Theatre Mode.
- (Folder) OBS Profile; Importable to OBS to match record settings, though the only changes of note are the 2400 x 1080 resolution and 60 FPS, with bitrates varying by recording hardware.
Workflow Notes, for your reference:
- Scheduling: If performing archival via recording, then your timeline of beginning the recording, stopping the recording, trimming the recording, and uploading the recording should create the least amount of interference. Anything more may cause manual labor to outweigh the convenience gained from personal archival.
- Tools: Open Broadcaster Software (OBS) for recording, LosslessCut for trimming/splitting/merging, and Adobe Photoshop or equivalent for thumbnail creation.
- Recording Scene: Internet browser of choice displaying the subject VOD in full-screen theatre mode, chat supplemented with the FrankerFaceZ browser extension with chat font set to 16, and OBS scene capturing to a resolution of 2400 x 1080 and framerate of 60 FPS. The scene template provided is configured for a 1920 x 1080 resolution screen source.

Video Removal //
The "[Enhanced Edition] - Bro vs. Bro" VOD, which featured the Jerma985 Discord's stream chat channel, has been removed due to reported concerns regarding the privacy of the Discord chat participants. It's been brought to my attention that personal information was shared in the Discord channel.

The format used in the "[Enhanced Edition] - Bro vs. Bro" VOD was single-use for April Fools Day. No further implementation or alteration to future VODs was or is being planned.

Irregular Delays on Stream Archives //
Observed YouTube randomly bottlenecking uploads under "Processing in HD" for anywhere up to multiple days, significantly delaying availability of some archives in high quality. Due to these service inconsistencies, I may publicize videos regardless of quality readiness in future cases where YouTube's abstract systems impair a timely delivery (24 hours from upload completion).
Affected videos, which continue to be random, will be temporarily limited to a 360p resolution. To view in higher quality, simply return to the video at a later time.
For reference, Jerma985's Elden Ring part 4 stream was uploaded over 72 hours ago, but only finished processing in HD just moments ago.
