Intercultural Dialogue Institute of John Paul II in Krakow is a local government cultural institution established by the Malopolska Regional Assembly, the Municipality of Krakow and the John Paul II Centre "Do not be afraid."
The Institute's mission is to commemorate, promote and creatively develop the legacy of Pope John Paul II and his values, to inspire new initiatives of universal dimension, to promote spirituality, culture and tradition associated with the person of the Holy Father John Paul II, and especially to foster dialogue between religions and cultures, as well as scholar, cultural and educational activities.
The Institute cooperates with local government units, national and local cultural institutions, non-governmental organizations with similar objectives and church communities, the media and legal entities and individuals in Poland and abroad.
