Hello everyone! It's been a while since I last posted in the community section on my channel, so I wanted to update you all. I'm aware of the issues with my thumbnails and a few other details on the channel. I recently made the mistake of hiring someone to, in their words, "optimize the thumbnails and SEO for your channel." Although I usually feel confident managing social media like Facebook, LinkedIn, and X, I thought a little extra help could boost my presence on YouTube.

Unfortunately, the results were far from acceptable. You may have noticed spelling errors in the thumbnails, mismatched images for videos, and some titles that were altered incorrectly. I’ve now reviewed all the videos for my podcast Talk About A Thing, updated the titles and descriptions, and started fixing the thumbnails. However, due to the limit on how many thumbnails can be updated in a 24-hour period, it will take a few days to fully resolve.

Just wrapped up the meeting I teased in my last video, and guess what? It turned out so much better than I feared!

🎉 Honestly, the anxiety was real - tackling a subject I'm not familiar with always feels like climbing a mountain backwards. 🏔️🙈 I mean, trying to prep was a nightmare since info was as elusive as a four-leaf clover. 🍀

I've always been a bit of a control freak, wanting to know everything about anything that touches my business. 📚💼 It's not that I don't trust experts; I just like to be informed enough to know what I'm asking for. Over the years, navigating this as a foreigner in China, I've bumped into folks who saw my lack of local knowledge as an opportunity rather than a partnership hurdle. 😒



But today? Today was a breath of fresh air. 🌬️💙 The consultant I've brought on board is nothing short of amazing - reliable, savvy, and speaks English like a pro. 🤝🗣️ It's moments like these that remind me life's pretty awesome. 😊🌟

Exciting Weeks in Shanghai 🌆🤩

Hey everyone! 😊

I can't believe how fast these past few weeks have flown by; it's been an absolute whirlwind! Life here in Shanghai has been a blast, from the daily routines of taking the kids to school to diving headfirst into various activities. 🏫👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

But that's not all; my work has been super exciting lately! I've been deeply immersed in creating AI-enhanced videos and product information for a local company, which has been a fantastic experience. 🤖📹

Today, I had the pleasure of mixing business with pleasure by having breakfast with a group of fellow Scandinavians who recently landed in China. It was so refreshing to connect with people from back home and converse in our native language, Swedish. 🇸🇪☕

And now, let's talk about my YouTube channel's growth! 📈 It might not be happening as quickly as I'd hoped, but we're making steady progress, one step at a time. I've been busy sharing several episodes of my podcast Talk About A Thing, and some new videos on the playlist Random Ravings, and the icing on the cake – some music videos for the songs I've composed and produced with the help of AI. 🎶🤖

Of course, there have been a few "daily vlogs" as well, and I can't wait to share another one with you tomorrow! So stay tuned for more exciting content. Thank you for being a part of my journey! 📹🎉

So I have been back in Shanghai for about two months now and I have made a couple of videos, both the not-so-daily vlogs and my new thing where I talk about a topic. I obviously still have a long way to go before my videos are of really great quality but I think I have improved massively since I started this channel about 3 years ago.

I have a couple of new improvements coming in the videos for next week so stay tuned and remember to check in from time to time, and please share and like my videos to help spread my channel.

I would like to thank everyone who have taken their time to watch any of my videos during the past 2 years I have been running this channel. I truly appreciate it. Alright! Today there will be no video cause I basically just spent all day sitting in front of the computer applying for some writing jobs in Sweden and China. Tomorrow I will be back with a daily vlog video and it will be longer than all the past ones because tomorrow I am going to Stockholm.

So I am back! I have struggled a bit the past months with life and everything but am slowly but surely finding ways to get out of the bad mindset. I have and still have problems getting things done, sort of lost interest in most things due to the past months (years actually) having been very tough. I kind of realized recently that I tend to overthink stuff which results in not getting much done. I read up a bit on my situation and one part to improve your life is routines, so I have decided to do some short daily vlogs here on my channel. Simple short videos without me overthinking them too much.
