Basic things you need to know before starting okirika business
What is okirika?
Okirika are used clothes, second hand clothing or wears. Although, some are as clean as new.
We have different ways of buying "OKIRIKA"
1. Bale
2. Slot
3. Picking
4. Grading
5. Clearance
Study your environment first to know what they want before investing big into the business.
* Bale: A large wrapped of clothes
* Slot: Means sharing of bale into different groups.
Note: Slot are comprises of all grades in a bale, and the seller gives a price depending on the number of cloth
Newbies in the house, reduce your expectations abeg, okirika na used clothes not brand new.
* Picking:It is a process whereby the sellers send you pictures of items, them you pick your choice but the cost price is more expensive than slot price.
* Grading: it a process whereby the vendors open a bale you pick all you like, but don't forget soup wey sweet na money kill am.
* Clearance: means worn out clothes in the bale. Bad clothe that should be sold after amendment or the has been selling and needs to finish it to open a new bale.

To my subscribers and new viewers that are interested in thrift business, if you are new in this thrift business please learn the business before venturing into it, don't start selling thrift because others are selling it and if you feel inspired by others learn the business first , thrift business is very dicey, you rush enter you go rush comot, thrift business has ruin and also made people rich, a beautiful example of ruin, if you buy a bale worth 200k and you don't know how to sell it or the cloth in it turns out to be bad nobody will be held responsible but you, in Nigeria thrift wears are contraband if you buy a bad bale you cannot hold anyone responsible not just because it contraband but because it is second hand clothing and the importers themselves don't know what is inside they also bought it in bales from china, UK, korea, canada e.t.c,but some of these issues can be Avoided and i will talk about them in my next video stay blessed guys 🙏
