Ali Rao is a graduate from National College of Arts, Lahore. Musicologist, musician, music analyst, singer, lyricist and composer.
Started in the year 2004, playing at different TV channels and battle of the bands. Participant of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa 2010, India. Winner of All Pakistan Musical Conference (ghazal) in Lahore 2013. Have learned from the best teachers in Pakistan Ustad Raza Shaukat (tabla), Ustad Habib Ur Rehman (classical vocals), Madam Sarah Zaman (music analysis), madam Aliya Rasheed (classical vocals) and ustad Saleem khan Poonchwala (sitar).
Ali Rao is known for his live performaning skills, with his experience he has always been a show stopper.
