Yooooooo, we frocking did it! 1K, yippee!!!! Thank you guys so much! You all seemed to really like my most recent video, crazy style, which makes me really happy. I'll keep at it and continue trying to improve my content.
On another note, I haven't been streaming for various reasons being appointments, get togethers, and an over all lack of interest in end of wipe content and PvP. I'll probably do one more short stream, either tomorrow or Thursday, where I give away all my stuff, so keep an eye out for that. Other than that, I'm gonna try to bang out one more video with my last clips before wipe.

Summary: The most recent Dark and Darker update has impacted it's performance so poorly I can't stream or record the game without severe stutters.
How ironic it is that I talk about branching out my content, and then Dark and Darker releases an update that makes it impossible to stream or record the game. The timing is truly divine... I've tried just about everything to help improve performance and compatibly with my rig, but no matter what I do, it still consistently stutters in OBS. I thought maybe it was an OBS issue or a hardware issue or something unrelated to DaD, but the issue is only there when DaD is launched, not even being recorded! Just the instance of DaD existing causes all recordings/streams to have stutters and this issue is non existent with the numerous other games I've tried. I honestly don't know what to do or how to fix it, I wouldn't even know what to submit for the bug report or how they would test it... I've seen a few posts on reddit about similar performance issues others have had, but none with my issue specifically. I'm at a loss here and sorta just have to wait to see if future updates fix it. Until then, I'll work with what clips I have to release a couple videos, but I'm probably gonna swap to Tarkov til it gets fixed or wipe happens. Whichever comes first lol...

Summary: I'll be putting the highly edited videos on the backburner, but will upload more "standard"(lightly edited dungeon raids) videos more frequently in between. Also, would you watch Tarkov videos uploaded by me? (SAYING YES TO BE NICE IS 100X WORSE THAN JUST SAYING NO)
Yo, it's been a minute. Kinda forgot about this feature, lol. I just wanted to give you guys a content update and say what's on my mind. I love making the super highly edited compilations, however this game really isn't fit for that style of video (arena being the exception). This means that any footage I get from the "Main Game" rarely has a place in that type of video, so I'll put it into more "standard" videos, while saving the arena footage for the "high effort" videos. Basically, more videos, but less frequently highly edited videos. Another reason I wanna do this is because when the highly edited videos are the only thing I'm working on, it feels like I'm forcing myself to be creative sometimes and can lead to long sections of me sitting with my thumb up my arse thinking about what I should do next, which really isn't productive. I'm hoping that working on those videos when I feel inspired will result in a better video and less time wasted.
On another note, I'm curious to see if you guys would watch non-DaD content if I were to release it. As some of you know, I migrated to DaD from Tarkov because at the time DaD was simply the better game. However... over the past 2 or so years, that reason has become less and less relevant, an my itch to play Tarky is becoming near irresistible. If I were to release some Tarkov videos or other stuff would you even watch? PLEASE be honest because saying "yes" because you "don't wanna make me feel bad" would be pretty devastating to any future alternative content I wanna make. As a creator, I have the option to show my new releases in your sub feed or not. If I don't release it to the sub feed, Youtube will automatically find the best fit audience for the video, recommend it to them, and the video will naturally accumulate views, however if I release it to YOUR sub feed and you DON'T watch it because it's Tarkov or whatever, then the video is almost immediately killed because Youtube sees that my subs aren't watching my videos and pretty much shuts down any growth.
Sorry for the rant, just wanted to get this outa my head and hear your thoughts.

Welp, I wanted to try an actual stream schedule starting this week, but I guess not lol. The symptoms aren't too severe thankfully, but I'm still pretty lethargic and I doubt you'd want to hear me sniffing and sneezing every 5 seconds on stream. Probably no streams this week, but at least I can work on videos for a bit. Love u guys.

Yo, just wanted to wish y'all a 🎄Merry Christmas🎄. Hope you're having a good holiday season and a bountiful early wipe in the dungeon. Sorry for lack of videos lately, I've been grinding on the streams hard, tryna get loot, and have been having a lot of holiday shenanigan's going on, too. I got an even busier schedule for the new years, but I'll try to at least get 1 video out in the next few days. Anyways, love you guys and have a happy holiday.

I can't say that a video like that is gonna be the norm, but I'll probably put out a "guide" like video at least every once in a while. Looking forward to the new wipe, hopefully some big changes to really shake up the game!

Sorry for lack of videos lately! I've been putting together my new PC and the video editing software that I used on my old one is having issues. Hopefully new vid in a day or two if all goes well.
Also, sorry for not answering YouTube comments on my recent streams. Again, because of the new PC I had it set to only show twitch chat on my end, but it should be fixed now.
