in the future - u will be able to do some more stuff here,,,!! like pat catgirl- i mean um yeah... for now u can only see others's posts :c
Since starting my channel, I've tried to keep it Ad Free because I find YouTube Ad's annoying myself.
There's a lot of reports surfacing that YouTube are going to force Ad's on creators' content and if they're not part of the YouTube Partner Program , they'll not receive a cut of any Ad Revenue.
I'm looking into this and if this is indeed the case, I will be turning Ad's on so if YouTube are to profit from the content I'm uploading, I'll get a cut of that revenue also.
As explained by YouTube:
"Starting today, we’ll begin slowly rolling out ads on a limited number of videos from channels not in YPP. This means as a creator that’s not in YPP, you may see ads on some of your videos. Since you’re not currently in YPP, you won’t receive a share of the revenue from these ads, though you’ll still have the opportunity to apply for YPP as you normally would once you meet the eligibility requirements."
Sorry guys!

Just an update on the ATN issue I was experiencing because some of you asked I let you know what happened - and I have to give ATN credit for their good service as I was quick to complain in the first place.
After TWO WEEKS of chasing Highland Outdoors to see where my ABL was and what was happening with it, then after discovering they hadn't even spoken to ATN (via ATN!) about it, I lost my sh*t and escalated my complaint to ATN.
Thankfully, ATN stepped up and I got a call from their Sales Manager who - I have to say - was absolutely superb! After almost THREE weeks of having this issue; in less than three MINUTES on the phone, my problem was resolved AS PROMISED.
Anyone having issues with the ABL will still need to go via Highland Outdoors but once it gets to ATN. I have to say the service is EXCELLENT - at least the service I experienced was! I have found the biggest bottleneck in the chain of getting a resolution was Highland Outdoors, as I say, once it got to ATN, it was resolved very quickly indeed. I couldn't fault them in any way!
I must say at this point, Highland Outdoors had only just re-opened after Lock-down/Furloughing and I imagine they were busy so I will give them the benefit of doubt here in that I hope their service is better than that I experienced, when they are back up to full operational speed.
From speaking to other users and also to ATN, I have a feeling there's an issue with the ABL 1000 units because I know of someone who had theirs replaced with an ABL 1500 and was apparently told these were more reliable - but we'll not know more unless ATN give an update.
Thank you ATN! My replacement kit has been SUPERB!

My ABL1000 has started ranging incorrectly. It's lost 4 YARDS. I know of FIVE OTHER PEOPLE with the same issue, yet ATN claim they've never heard of it happening?!
Highland Outdoors (ATN's UK Distributor) have kindly taken receipt of mine to repair or replace it under the 2-year warranty, of which mine is only NINE MONTHS in! Lee has been very patient with my repeated calls and questions. I'm hoping he can work some magic on this!
I'm documenting EVERYTHING and I'll be doing a full video on the overall service and any advice from both @highlandoutdoors and ATN as soon as I know how they're going to resolve this with a view to helping others in the same boat.
Anyone else experiencing the same problems?
This issue occurred after simply changing the battery in the ABL Rangefinder.
If you're using one of these devices, and you've changed the battery recently, DOUBLE CHECK your ranges!
Please let me know below if you're experiencing the same issue.
I find it very hard to believe ATN know nothing about this!

I GOT SOME... I BL**DY GOT SOME (in .177) !
JSB were going to send me some of these Hades few months ago for some pellet tests and comparisons but sadly COVID-19 put a stop to that happening.
I found these online thanks to a heads-up from @Ambushcraftnhunting over lunch (we weren't together, I was at home!) and I've now got some on order!
A few days from now... I'll be putting some of these through the rifle in readiness for the squirrels next week!
What are you thoughts on these? I must admit, I'm somewhat 'cited!

Anyone want to be my friend on Facebook?
I've had an ARPC Facebook Page for a while but I've always hung out with Instagram and YouTube. I'm thinking of being better friends with Facebook (or Facey as it was called 15 years ago!).
Go on... take a look! :)

ARPC has a new, refreshed website for the spring!
I found that ARPC Online and some direct-linked articles are being referenced by Creators and other website owners. I was so pleased to see others found the information available to be useful and thought I owe it to them to give the site a tidy up.
During the long evenings in Lockdown, I've redesigned, refreshed and re-released my new website for Air Rifle Pest Control.
The website is there to support my YouTube channel and any future competitions or giveaways will also be managed through my new site.
ARPC Online now boasts some testimonials (anonymous, for obvious privacy reasons), updated articles, video snippets of my equipment and what I do, a short journey through time from when I got back into shooting in a big way; to today, reasons to use ARPC as your primary pest controller and a new contact section with my email and social media details.
I've been asked on numerous occasions for a PM or email address, it's all on there now. PM via Instagram, email via your favourite client!
Thank you so much - everybody - for your continued support, take care and most importantly... stay safe!

I was in the hide from 6:30AM, waiting for the squirrels to take their breakfast.
This weather is absolutely awful. High winds, rain and general miserableness! They weren't to eager to dine out today sadly.
I think they have more sense than me! 😕
How's everyone else getting on with their shooting recently?

See how pests are controlled here in the UK using legal limit, silenced air rifles.
Successfully managing rat, rabbit, grey squirrel, corvid and pigeon populations with air rifles. This gives immediate results with no need for rat poison, trapping and glue, removing the risk to other wildlife and to pets from secondary poisoning and injury.
