This is Red Baron, an official set released by LEGO in 2002. The sets contains 670 pieces and it represents a real triplane from WW1, which was flown by the German ace pilot Albrecht Manfred von Richthofen.

Retail Price: $50 (~$85 adjusted for inflation)
Market Value: ~$500 for a sealed set
