Should have been a new video tonight but we got hung up on data/graphs, so here's a very important poll instead.

May as well address the fairly large elephant in the room - yes, there is currently another patented NuclearDelay in progress - I am in the process of moving 4 hours inland which is a herculean task, more content to come ASAP once I'm back up and running!

Hypothetically, if every now & then I felt like playing with a super low-end/non-gaming laptop, and I also happened to have a second channel...

Smashing through the GF63 review and hoping to have that ready to go by Sunday evening. That being the case: Next? [Comment for anything not listed]

Playing with an immaculate Compaq CQ60 complete with its original install of Windows Vista… Realising this is now considered retro certainly makes me feel a bit old!

Working as a tech at a PC retailer in this era was “fun”; adding onto the chronic unreliability issues plaguing every machine from the capacitor plague & low quality lead-free solder, Vista’s launch immediately kicked up what felt like a 50%+ next-day return rate with an irate “why have you people sold me such a slow computer?”

1GB of RAM was just about enough to get the OS moving, 2GB if you actually wanted to do anything with it - but nearly every laptop on the market came with 512MB.

Including this one. Perfect.
