One of the most exciting, and full circle moments of my life, you want to read this… In 2018, my friends and I won backstage passes to meet Arijit Singh. So it was very exciting and inspiring that I had an opportunity to meet one of the greatest Indian music artists alive. However, during the 2018 concert, it all went downhill.
Due to a very unexplainable series of events, I was held back by security and wasn’t able to meet him, while all my friends got to meet him. It was a very helpless moment for me. From that day, I told myself that I would build a name for myself and that this would all come full circle for me one day.
Fast forward 4 years, out of the blue, Showfest (Arijit’s Concert Touring Company) was interested in a collaboration in which I could help them promote their shows through my own music. Turns out that led to me receiving 2 complimentary tickets to his show, as well as a Meet and Greet pass. I was awestruck, but I still kept my expectations stable because who knows. I ended up getting the complimentary tickets and it was the day of the show. The concert finished, and then I was escorted down to the arena to wait for the call to meet him. Through very seemingly ‘lucky’ moments, I was personally escorted into room with Arijit. But I knew the inner workings of these events. Finally, we got the picture, and as soon as it was clicked, I heard the executive member announce ‘meet and greet is over’ and they closed the gate. I was the last person to get into the room and get a picture. This was a full circle moment complete. On my own merit. Escorted. Complimentary tickets. Due to my value in those moments. Manifestation complete✅ Of course this is not the final destination, but this is a moment that I really wanted to be complete, and it is. And I got to make this happen for my girlfriend as well, which was just a magical and wholesome and proud moment. Just know that life has a weird way of guiding you in exactly which direction you’re supposed to move in, so just trust in something bigger than you, and keep moving and dreaming :) Thank you Showfest, you all are amazing, look forward to working again. @Official_ArijitSingh
