We are two twin brothers, Janus and Anders, who with our father, Søren, share a passion for the outdoors and fishing. We are Team Just Reel-laks-in (Pronounced Just Relaxing).
For years our focus has been trolling fishing for Salmon (Laks in Danish) in the waterways around Denmark and Sweden, hence the play on words in our team name. We have competed for 10+ years in the Trolling Master Bornholm, DM i Trolling (Danish Trolling Championship), and the Klintecup, always chasing the ultimate catch in trolling, The Atlantic Salmon.
In 2017 DTU AQUA's began their tuna tagging project, Scandinavian Bluefin Marathon. The purpose was to understand why the tuna disappeared in the 1960s from Danish waters and why the tuna has returned to Danish waters.
Team Just Reel-laks-in has participated in the Scandinavian Bluefin Marathon since 2017and has helped DTU AQUA catch-tag-release many Atlantic Bluefin Tunas in the waters around Denmark.
