little update on my life: i'm going into my senior year of undergrad as an astrophysics major, and most of my energy has been focused on keeping my grades up, preparing for graduate school, and getting into research. i've actually got a summer position in research lined up, and i'll be working with a professor for a project focusing on calculating the volume inside black holes (!!!) which is very cool stuff!!!! i'm by no means an expert but i'd be happy to try and answer some questions.
unfortunately as you guys can see by my inactivity, this made me hit a bit of an art slump. however, i'm starting to feel more motivated again, so hopefully i'll be able to indulge in creative stuff more ^^ (the last sketch is actually a frame from a pmv which i hope to finish eventually)

well this certainly looked less saturated on my laptop. open star cluster NGC 457, which we imaged for our observational astronomy lab using a CCD camera and a 24 inch optical telescope! the first image is an "artsy" color photo while the second image is slightly closer to what we would use for data analysis :D been a long time since i've done astrophotography but now i got the chance to do it for a grade
unfortunately since i don't own it, i don't have the specs of the camera or the telescope memorized but i could find out if anyone's curious!
