I'm a fan of music from the '60s, to a lesser extent the '70s and to a greater extent the '80s music which hearks back to the aesthetic values of the '60s...The '90s are sort of like a glummer version of the '70s to me and as for the 21st Century I find it hard to enjoy anything at all in the pop charts although I know there are still great groups around. They seem to make their money from touring rather than crafting great albums however, which seems a loss to me, especially since I have been getting into the recently released mono vinyl remasters of the BeaTles' LPs...Surely something else will come along though (recently I enjoyed hearing something by Beirut). I can't be the only person around who can't take anymore compression! Maybe the world really does need something like Neil Young's Pono...
