'The Rorr has a lot of potential and with the issues addressed, Oben could have a winner'. That was our verdict when we first rode the pre-production model of the Oben Rorr last year. Since then, the Bengaluru-based startup worked on improving its product and had invited us back to experience the production-spec model. Has Oben managed to do justice to Rorr's potential this time around? The answer lies in our first ride review, now live on the Turbocharged website.

Remember Tata’s Avinya EV concept showcased by the carmaker last year? Tata Passenger Electric Mobility (TPEM) and Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) have entered a partnership for the licensing of JLR’s Electrified Modular Architecture (EMA) to underpin Tata’s premium electric vehicles. This includes the electrical architecture, electric drive unit, battery pack and manufacturing expertise.

The move should help Tata fast track development of its ‘Avinya’ series of premium EVs. On the other hand, JLR’s products based on the EMA will be midsize SUVs for the international market that will be launched 2025 onwards.

What do you think about this partnership? Drop in the comments below!
