You ought to celebrate the then and
now. I am because my THEN was filled with so much dysfunction, utter confusion, mad chaos, and fear upon fear upon more fear.
But baby this NOWā¦my NOW is full of calmness, so much clarity, an abundance of joy and indescribable peace. My NOW is allowing me to heal from past traumas, experience the fullness of life and access to my purpose each and every day.
I thank God for this journey. Itās only because of Him that I am able to celebrate my THEN and NOW. šš½

Someone once told me to āsit in my emotionsā.
Even though you may feel overwhelmedā¦sit in it.
Even though you may feel frustratedā¦sit in it.
Even though you may be tiredā¦sit in it.
Even though you may want to throw in the towelā¦sit in it.
If I can be honest, I struggled with this. Having to āsitā in my emotions was the last thing I wanted to hear, yet do. I had to learn to sit in the feeling of being upset. To sit in the feeling of being overwhelmed. To sit in the feeling of being exhausted, afraid, and frustrated. To sit in ALL THE FEELINGS.
What I also had to learn was that by sitting in the emotions for a moment it allowed me to begin to heal. I had to understand that healing is not only necessary after dealing with some form of trauma, but healing is needed daily.
I encourage you to learn to sit in your emotions for a moment. Learn to experience the feelings. Allow yourself to heal from it, then do what we do bestā¦fix our crowns and carry on. šŖš½ š
