The Middle Way Society is an international group, first founded in the UK, for the study, promotion and practice of the Middle Way. We see the Middle Way as a practical principle of judgement, not a metaphysical belief.
The aims of the society are as follows:
1. To investigate and promote the Middle Way as a practical and moral philosophy of universal applicability, independent of any appeal to traditional authority and avoiding metaphysical dogma, whether positive or negative.
2. To support all forms of integrative practice that address conditions in a way compatible with the Middle Way. These typically include meditation, critical thinking and the arts.
To further these aims, we run regular retreats and Skype-based discussion groups. Our website features regular blogs, book reviews, a discussion forum, and a web-based introductory course. Please visit www.middlewaysociety.org, where you can join the society or subscribe to our regular newsletters.
