Babies come into this world completely dependent upon their parents. Yet, the rate at which they grow is out of this world. 85% of the baby's brain development happens in the first 3 years of its life. And if we could support this development in any way, we may give the baby a better chance in life.
Now, while there are many things that can be done, one of the simplest is to be mindful of the toys and products that you buy for your baby. While this sounds simple, this in itself could be a really difficult step. There are toys like electric keyboards etc. that are only distractions and distract the baby with their sounds and lights away from its curiosity. On the other hand, simple toys like a sensory plush toy could enhance a baby's synaptic development by touch or a wooden box with a hole on top can enhance the baby's ability to understand cause and effect.
