The Sydney Underground Film Festival takes place every September in Sydney, Australia.
Founded in 2007, SUFF aims a spotlight on independently produced and experimental films that would otherwise go unseen or underrepresented. Since its inception, SUFF has established itself as one of the country’s premiere discovery festivals, whilst maintaining its grassroots appeal. Screening narrative features, documentaries, and short films, the festival has screened over 1800 films from 30+ countries. SUFF also hosts TAKE48 - a 48 hour film challenge each year with completed films screening as part of the official program.
If weird, wild, wacky is your bag - make sure you check it out.
