Hope your day is going well.... A lot of writers mentioned to me (including in the previous poll) that they struggle to write character growth that is earned and not forced. As a result, I posted this video today, with an exercise at the end. Happy to work through the exercise with you on your developing characters/stories in the comments below or in the comments section of the video! watch video on watch page

Writers: Where is your favorite spot to write your stories? Share in the comments below!

Here's a sneak peek into my room redesign! Thanks to one of my viewers who suggested I remodel it, as it gave me the push to do it. The great thing is that by recycling other stuff I had, it only cost me $70. The lighting isn't quite right yet, but I will figure it out. The full reveal will be included in my upcoming writing tutorial, which I am about to record and edit.

The picture in the back is of my dog, who one day discovered she could dig in my flower pots, resulting in a big mess. However, she looked so regal sitting amidst the destruction that I had to take a picture and frame it. Hope you like it!

Overall, I am trying to create a coffee shop feel, as that is where I love to write.
