The reviews for "Who Stepped in the Poo?!" are starting to come in and people seem to like it. My favorite review is from Richard in the US. "It is a little bizarre, and the ending is a little dark." That pretty much sums up the entire book. I should really put that quote on the books' cover.
And just a heads up, I'm editing the how to write a children's story book video right now. And this will be the first in a series of videos on this topic, so watch for it!

The vast majority of you who subscribe to my YouTube channel would not consider yourselves to be artistic, in a drawing sense. You’re creative, you’re just not illustrators. So over the years, I’ve taught you how to self publish children’s activity books using licensable stock artwork from other artists. But I keep getting requests to teach how to create children’s picture story books using stock art.
Up until now, I’ve avoided this topic like the plague. Because the thought of putting together a children’s picture story book, that had a cohesive look to it, while using artwork from many different artists with varying art styles; just seemed like a total nightmare waiting to happen. But I eventually gave in and decided to do it.
But rather than just create a few pages to demonstrate the process for you all, I decided to create an entire book. The images you see below are of the cover and of a sample of the interior pages. The book is basically a story about a bunch of funny little farm animals; and about stepping in poo. Why? Because I think stepping in poo is funny! The story has kind of a dark ending, but you’ll have to read it to see why.
The book turned out far better than I ever thought it would; and there will be new videos coming by the end of this month showing you step by step how I created it. But in the mean time, if you’d like to support my channel by picking up a copy for the 4 to 8 year old in your life, it’s available on Amazon at the links below. And if you do, I’d really appreciate it if you gave it some love in the Amazon reviews.
Thank you all.
Craig

This prickly little guy will be the subject of my next "Draw with Me" video. I know that I haven't been uploading a lot lately and I apologize. It's just that I've been working on other projects that will eventually lead to more video content dealing with self publishing.
