Nice trade today. Done on the day now. Took this on brand new evals. I tend to risk a bit more on evals to get them passed faster. Just need 1 more winning day on these and that's more funded accounts. Very simple setup here for me. 1min. OB break and re-test targeting 2R. This was essentially 1 trade. I ended up going in too small so I had to add some in here to my appropriate sizing. I want to be clear this was done on my sim account - not real money... my sim evaluation account.

Solid day today. Hit 5R on my 2nd attempt on NQ trade. Yesterday had 1 trade and lost, but since I am only risking 1R and going for 5R with this strat, today more than makes up it.

Caught this beauty today. I explained my whole strategy in my latest video for trading futures. After many years of trading I've come to the realization that you win in trading by losing... by that I simply mean making more than you lose on each trade. Even if I am winning only 30% of the time (which feels like losing sometimes)... having great money management with good R:R can carry the entire strategy. That for me doesn't mean making a few extra R... targeting 3R+ for me has been the goal. Leaves me a lot of wiggle room.
We have to re-wire our brains to be okay with losing and I only think that after one starts to see 3R+ in their strategy and things start to stack up, can we accept that a losing win % is okay if the money management is in line. It's not easy to see it on paper and be okay with it.... but when it starts to work, you're brain starts to re-wire.

I've moved mostly away from FX recently and have really been putting my focus on futures trading since the start of 2024. It's going well thus far. I've had to adapt my strategy a bit, but still all the same concepts I used while trading EU in FX. After making the switch, I am really loving futures... I think I found my new home.
