Jaren took our oldest out on a morning date to the LARGEST @StarbucksReserve in the world!
1st level is main reserve bar + food!
2nd level bakery and cafe.
3rd level experience coffee bar (which they grabbed).
4th level cocktail bar (which they didn’t go to) 🤪
Explored 2 Museums for free with our reciprocal museum pass! ASTC membership! Would have been over $80 for our family for each museum.
•@adlerplanetarium & Astronomy Museum : We spent about 30 minutes there because it’s more of a planetary theatre to go see shows
(extra charge $15/pp per show)
•@TheFieldMuseum : we spent over 2 hours here! This museum reminded me of movie “Night At The Museum” or the @nationalmuseumofnaturalhistory in Washington DC!
So much to explore and this place was MASSIVE!
Museums were open from 9am-4pm
Went shopping and picked up my next 4
“shelf trophies”! 🏆📚 totally kidding I read them!!!
Powerless (book 1)- Lauren Roberts
Reckless (book 2) - Lauren Roberts
Credence - Penelope Douglas
Caraval- Stephanie Garber
The @NASCAR street races 🏎️ were going on so ALOT of the roads were blocked off. So more people in those areas and security everywhere.
Stopped to get a snack of vegan empanadas at Fons
and went to Millennium Park to find a shaded seat in the grass to have a picnic.
Walked over to The Bean, Chicago and then explored Maggie Daley Park .
We walked the entire city - parked in the garage at the Bean so we would be centrally located to everywhere we were exploring.
Went down to the Chicago Riverwalk before our Chicago River cruise boat ride!
Booked the 7:30pm architectural cruise so we could experience the 90 minute boat rode during the day and night! @ChicagosFirstLady cruises.
5⭐️
Around 9:30pm we walked down towards @navypier to grab a spot to watch the firework show at 10pm for the 4th of July!
Drove back to our @airbnb with @SlumberStayRentals and settled in for the night after a full day of exploring Chicago!

3 years ago on this day the world SHUT DOWN
-March 16, 2020-
It’s the day we had to leave Germany and head back to the United States and cancel our 3 month EU trip.
We were on the last flight out of Frankfurt, DE and the pilot thanked us for being on this flight with him because it was going to his last flight until further notice. It was quite eerie to hear that.
The world was upside down with the unknown of what was going to happen next.
Our trip was canceled just like that and I gave up hope to try to explore outside of the country.
Because of the thought that the countries could just close their borders again and send us back home.
But my dreams are not stopping us from still exploring. The countries are open again, travel and tourism is what helps communities and countries thrive. We have only a few more states to explore in the USA and then the world needs to be explored!
These were the places we were able to go to:
✔️ Paris, France
✔️ Stuttgart, Germany
✔️ Igersheim, Germany
✔️Bad Mergentheim, Germany
✔️ Würzburg, Germany
✔️ Nuremberg, Germany
✔️ Heidelberg, Germany
These were the places we were meant to go to:
•Rome, Italy
•Florence, Italy
•Piza, Italy
•Arona, Italy
•Grenoble, France
•Nice, France
•Nîmes, France
•Calella, Spain
•Badalona, Spain
•Barcelona, Spain
•Dubrovnik, Croatia
•Kotor, Montenegro
•Corfu, Greece
•Sicily, Italy
•Pompeii, Italy
•Naples, Italy
•Marseille, Spain
•Palma de Mallorca, Spain

Our RV is a 2020 @ForestRiverInc Wildwood Heritage Glen 378FL. This 5th wheel connects to our @BWTrailerHitches in the back of our F350 truck. This RV is almost 45ft long with 5 slide outs. Our RV has 2 doors, 1 bedroom and 1 loft above the master. The FL in 378FL stands for front living. So the nose of the RV that over hangs the back of the truck is where the living room is. The middle is the kitchen and seating area. Then the bathroom down the hall, steps (stairs) up to the kids loft and then a step down to the master bedroom. We chose this RV for the kitchen and living room space. Our last RV was a 3bd-2bth and we just didn’t have a space to all sit and enjoy ourselves. So this layout has really helped us have a place to gather and be together. All while we just sleep in our beds.
The back bedroom has a drop frame where you step down and have more ceiling height so you are not crouching.
•There is 1 black tank, 1 grey tank, 1 fresh water tank and 2 a/c units
