This is a fun one. Today I’m sharing a love spell for a client who has been through codependency recovery. Whenever you’re doing any form of love work it is important to tailor the spell to protect against any known vulnerabilities in the target. In this case I used lavender to help bring a soothing quality to the energy while increasing the client’s willpower to resist any temptation to self-sabotage. I also invoked the archangel Ariel as the chief protector to help with sacral chakra issues that have played a part in the challenges of the past.
Cinnamon is present in multiple powders and the spice form but I also included coffee to add extra energy to match the client's personality.
Finally, the heart chakra is protected by pink Himalayan salt while the entire work is grounded with regular table salt as we are trying to make sure that a lasting love enters and remains in my client's life while being able to overcome any past trauma or vulnerability. Because I help people recover from codependency, I don’t do a great many love spells, but I’m always glad when a client is ready, in part because love works smell so good!

Friday is one of the days you can work with Kali, The Destroyer, and I was resistant to the idea when it kept coming up in various draws for some work I was doing. However, I made peace with the idea that to fully resolve certain forms of attachments, it is necessary as Kali is capable of slaying demons. Although it is exceptionally important to be very clear in your request and petition when doing so, and I also invoke archangels to balance the darkness of Kali who exists beyond good and evil as a true force of nature, for in destruction, there is rebirth.
Whenever you do a form of invocation of a deity be sure to research the appropriate offerings. I am working with lemon here, as I am clearing an energy entirely from my life and that of my collective. I have not invoked the destruction of enemies aspect of the goddess but I am aware that when invoking Kali that She will do as she deems fit, hence invoking angelic protection for the innocent and pure of intent, just to be on the safe side.
This won't be cast until later today but the offering has been fully prepared. One other note: when preparing an offering (this is a lemon cake with lemon icing) do as much as you can by hand. The batter was stirred by hand, as was the frosting, while listening to a mantra. I also invoked another aspect of the feminine divine, again to try and soften the impact. Kali is one of the deities that can help with healing from heartbreak and injustice but She is best called upon after a significant period of healing as your energy does inform the outcome.

I think I've explained pretty thoroughly that I have a system for randomizing the Spirit Guide Dailies so that I don't know what reading lands on what day. It was interesting to me that today's reading was that thoroughly freaky advice about working with elementals and fairies because today would be a particularly auspicious day to do that, if at all possible.
Remember, the New Moon in Taurus is the perfect time to start a manifestation work for earthly security, wealth and prosperity, etc. If you've already done a lot of work around that, this is the day to ask for the earthly evidence of the energetic foundation you have created.

The last Full Moon of the Winter is on Saturday, February 24, 2024. It's the Snow Moon and it's the full moon in Virgo so it's go time on releasing whatever you have been working to release throughout this dormant, healing season.
Be sure to do a full moon release ceremony that includes a ritual bath or shower, cleaning your physical atmosphere always helps, as well as a symbolic release of old energies preparing for spring. We are heading into the growth seasons, and now is the ideal time to put to rest old energies.
Since the full moon is in Virgo expect even more emotional fluctuations as Virgo is a very detail-oriented sign, and you mind yourself looking back more in the next three days. It serves a purpose for emotional cleansing, lean into it and it will accomplish more.

Hey everyone, I've had a couple of comments and emails about this, so I'm just posting on the community page: My Patreon and Membership is beginning on January 15th, 2024. There will be a public Spirit Guide Daily on that date and the link to join will be in the description box of that, as well as upcoming Pick a Cards, etc. I'm struggling with the YouTube Creators Studio on creating memberships, but I do have the Patreon set up already, it just won't launch until January 15th. If you need me, I will be battling the tech gods, as I so often must. I'm usually victorious but YouTube Creators studio is proving a challenge!
I hope you're able to join me but if not, no worries, there will still be at least two pick a cards a month on this channel that you can access for free, and the podcast Logical Magic: Examining Esoterica will still have the video versions here as well! January 15th is a date with a negative connotation for me so I am trying to reclaim its energy for something positive and productive instead of sad and destructive. Okay guys, first of all, I apologize for being so far behind on answering comments, I've been a bit overscheduled, but do know that I appreciate every person who takes the time to comment even if I do run short on response time!
Today we're covering a basic salt plate for releasing energies on the Full Moon. Most Full Moon rituals call for a burning bowl, or a cauldron and that the petition papers be burned but that's not always practical, so here's an example. Remember, you have three full days starting today to do a Full Moon release ritual to release the energies that are not serving you prior to the New Year.
Write the energy you are attempting to release on a hand-torn petition paper (remember to tear away from you when you are trying to release) I suggest purple ink but that is my preference (it corresponds to the crown chakra and helps access your higher self) . Write the key word or phrase of the energy you are releasing , then draw a line through it.
Empower, bless, and activate the petitions one at a time, calling in the deities you work with as you do so and call to your ancestors for help with this. Place them on a bed of activated salt and remember to do an offering to aid in the process after sunset.
I mix my salt with bless lemongrass oil for any form of salt plate and then I also include a blessed and activated lemon peel as part of the salt working.
Edit: Before pretty much everyone stars asking: You leave the plate on your altar or workspace for the remainder of the moon cycle, and then you deactivate the plate and papers with your dominant hand and simply dispose of the papers and salt at that time. It's one of the ways to get around burning petitions for spell work, as well, you can do a monthly salt plate to release them without burning with a salt plate.

Hey everyone, I hope you're enjoying the season and whatever it is you may or may not be celebrating. The Winter Solstice was on December 21st, and then on December 26th is the Cold Moon, the last full moon of the year, it is also the Full Moon in Cancer which makes it ideal for resolving emotions, releasing grudges, letting go of the grief or difficulty of this year. The Full Moons are for releasing energy, and the first Full Moon of the winter season also has the power of the last Full Moon of the year making it ideal for all forms of conclusion. Your emotions might be all over the place because the Full Moon is in Cancer, so keep that in mind, as well.
Winter is the restorative season, so if you release the central energy of the emotional work you have done in the year prior to the last Full Moon, it sets you up for a season of restoring your energy that is free of that energy.
It's always best to clean at the Full Moon, but remember this is largely symbolic, so do something to release the older energies almost as an energy primer. Don't forget to do a Full Moon release ceremony or ritual according to your own tradition. If you don't have one, Melanie Santos has an excellent Full Moon ritual posted.
And then lastly, since this is the time that Persephone is in the underworld, according to mythology, because she has a soul contract with Hades to be his wife this is also a Full Moon that would benefit from an ancestor offering. The alchemy of energy teaches us that Death will always yield new life and when Persephone returns in the Spring, and she is the goddess of growth, fertility, and love as well as of grain, making her one of the goddesses of abundance. So, the reason to do an ancestor offering at the Cold Moon is that it is said to increase your tie to ancestral power and magic. Magic tends to be strengthened by group petition, which is why some practitioners are part of covens.
If you've cleaned for the holidays that counts and it helps to make an ancestor offering that reflects your ancestral holiday traditions. I personally made a small English trifle for the offering.
