I played piano as a child but always loved the sounds of analog synthesis even though I new nothing about them. Loved the sounds of Blade Runner, Tangerine Dream and anything Berlin School. As an adult my own children took up piano which got me back into playing a bit. Then with the help of YouTube I discovered the world of Analog Synths and so my journey began. I have watched many videos and learned so much about the instruments and the stories behind the music and artists (again thanks to YouTube and the many channels out there). Then thanks to Arturia and Behringer for making it easier on the pocketbook to actually purchase some of this gear. It is adictive. It is frustrating. I am not that good but I like to try. Some of it sounds good to my ear but after a while not so much, but hey, I am just some middle aged guy trying to justify the money spent on all this stuff by hopefully getting a few views and likes without taking myself seriously.
