The Umami Information Center (UIC) was established in 1982 to convey information about Umami as a basic taste, and general information about Umami, in an accurate, factual manner.
The UIC is dedicated to communicating accurate and beneficial information concerning Umami, within Japan and throughout the rest of the world.
