I know i'm late to the Topsters 3 party but i don't care. Here's a list of My Favourite Games of All Time.

Image 1 is basically the Top 60 Games. The best of the best aka Hall of Fame.

Image 2 is basically the Top 100 Games that couldn't fit into the Top 60. Hence, it's written as 61-100. Every games are in random order so just pretend these are Honorable Mentions.

There are more games than i played in my life but these 100 games earned their spots to be included here for being masterpieces (chef kiss) and it's not easy to be within the cutoff line.

I'm just gonna say it here, these two lists will most likely stay the same for a long time. With modern gaming being mediocre, i have to go back to the past and i think i pretty much seen enough to make this list. It's like reading a book, there are more books out there but i already read enough amount to be satisfied.

Tbh it's not easy trying to include each games into the list. I think it took me around 5 hours to compile the list. As if that's not hard enough, i did went further by making yet another list on my Top 24 Favourite Games which took me around the same time.

I already did a video on the Top 24 Favourite Games and you can check it here

April 1st, 2024. Which means it's time for the annual April Fools joke on this channel. Anyway, what i'm about to say here are purely satirical and never was real.

But honestly, you won't even read this

.
.
.

As you all know, i am an avid video game fan. Thanks to my family bringing back game consoles, magazines and other gaming stuff, i was exposed to the brand new world of video game. Every games that i played ended up opening up more doors for me to explore.

Then comes the 2010s, internet is finally accessible to everyone and i was exposed to even more stuff about gaming, so much that i never expect to learn prior. There are countless genres available instead of just the two that i'm familiar with. Those genres opened my eyes and i was seriously impressed at what gaming can be.

Then as i dig deeper, there's a form of content where people talk about games but in a more different style. They call it game reviews/retrospectives where people would talk about the pros and cons about each games and went really deep within them. Channels like Caddicarus, AntDude, SomeCallMeJohnny seem to focus on this way of commentary. I didnt about making videos that time....

Then comes the 2020s and we all know what happened. We all were stuck in the house. I was bored and one day, i decide to follow their steps.

I was able to finally post my first video on one of my favourite game in late 2021 (Life is Strange, the game pretty much saved my life) and from there on, i was able to find my rhythm and push out new content frequently.

That's when i found out about the magic of gaming review, the ability to have different opinions while also being presented with different style. Thus, for the next few years, i doubled down and followed the wind. I switched to new editing software, bought a better microphone and changed the way i talk.

This is becoming my new hobby to this very day. I was able to understand every features on my new channel. Despite not having big attention like those big guys, i still had lots of fun because like i say, this is my hobby and i do it for fun. I experimented with different video idea like Does Anyone Remember, Month of Appreciation, The Missing Archive. By keeping this mentality, i was able to make videos without too much pressure and was thinking about doing this for a long period of time......but it's not meant to be.

2024....As we all know, Youtube over the recent years have been doing questionable decisions that puzzled every users. From the Ad-Pocalypse, the Coppa thing to the Copyright Abuse, everything are starting to pile up to be a new dilemma, the dilemma that no one can avoid. They removed the dislike button, punished anyone who uses profanity, not taking care of youtube bots, clickbait/inappropriate content, banning the usage of Ad Blocker, increases the CPU reading for computer users, ignored any channel that received unfair copyright claims, disregarding any complaints about certain channels doing dangerous act etc. The fact is that Youtube that we used to know and love is not here anymore. The Golden Era is way behind us and what we got is a shell of its former shell. I refused to believe all these but then one day, i just reluctantly accepted the fate.

The amount of unfair moments that users had to went through were staggering and it was at this point where i question myself "is everything worth it anymore?" Is it even worth spending and wasting your precious time making videos knowing that some unknown forces can just wipe out all your effort to nonexistent? Is it even worth continuing your small channel knowing that you will never strike a dent on the wall of those popular channels. With those big channels refusing to leave the website, leaving small bread crumb for small creators like us to fight over, the competition is not strong but felt one sided with nothing favoring you on your journey. Not to mention, everyone constantly fighting each other to the point that it created a toxicity within different communities. We seen that over the years, people make clickbait content that drove people into confusion, people spewing hatred towards other media, people just saying a bunch of nonsense just to receive clouts....it all became a big confusion.

The confusion snowballed into a bigger issue that created distrust among the community. Thus, when you wanted to say some different opinions, people from that particular cult will disagree with your opinion in a rude manner in order to tell you that your opinion does not matter and you should go away because no one would trust each other anymore. The toxicity would spread onto multiple communities and brought out the worst of humanity. People will jump on the hate bandwagon on anything without context and berates whoever that stand in their way. Gaming is no exception, people will hate on anything new before they were even released. As a result, i have to leave the Mario, Sonic and Racing Games Community because i couldn't take the toxicity anymore. I know there are still good people within but those are far and between and i'm not risking my mental health to find out. Speaking of mental health, i just fully recovered after what happened to my uncle. He had an accident in January 2024 and although is still alive, it had me wondering about how life can be taken away in a matter of seconds. All the things you could do each day could be your last at any day too. That had me worrying because i don't want to work on multiple videos only to face some problems that would hinder me from doing so. Case in point, my channel could be gone just because i made a dark joke that got people upset. Seriously, people are so sensitive nowadays. Regardless, i decided to take a step back for my wellbeing.

Anyway, enough with all these blabbering. So, what does this mean for this channel? Well i don't know, i just recently wrapped up the series where i talked about my local arcade and its games. I finished this arcade story as if i'm about to close up on an old story and opening a new page going forward. Life goes on and it really sucks but hey, there's no turning back. I felt like this is a great time to stop chasing the hobby for the time being. Until Youtube fixes all of its problem, i won't be actively making videos anymore. It's not worth the pain and suffering anymore. I mean i still got the ability to write scripts but i will hold onto them until something better appears. I'm turning 27 next year and i don't want to aimlessly making videos on a platform that i am frustrated with. 2019 is really the last good year of my lifetime.

Game Reviews - 27
Does Anyone Remember - 20
1CC Playthrough - 19

Never forget

i want to take a step back from creating videos. I'm too tired and too old for fighting a losing war of the algorithm. The new creators got the best of me and i'm pretty much clueless about my next move.

What i would do is focusing on things i really care about myself. That means there could be weeks or months where there won't be a new video. When a video do come out, it will be about stuff that i am familiar with. I'm done chasing the trend of new games each month, i don't want to blindly follow a train that will cause me to crash....the crash that could render me paralyzed. And with modern gaming becoming literally hopeless, i think its best to take a step back and discover hidden gems of the past. Then again, this is a channel about me talking games i liked so i don't think i'm offtopic. I want to try new things in my life. I've been trying to get into the RPG genre, i did played some of the game in the past but i wanted to dive even deeper. That's where i really want to fly towards.

While Plaformer and Racing Games are my jam but i think it's a good time to put them behind. I already grew out of those things, i much lost interests with them and as much as i still love some of those games, i don't want to waste time on the same niche. Life is too short for playing the same games over and over again. (Ignore my 300+ backlogs)
Trust me, one day when you climbed a big mountain and look back at your past down below you.....you will be so surprised at how far you had came.

With the supposed Switch 2 coming out next year with me not having any desire to buy it and i'm not really in touch with gaming news anymore, i think this is a save point for me. The save point inside the memory card that will be taken out from the console and be placed in a drawer. Maybe i will revisit this save sometime soon and continue my progress but that is not guaranteed.

Don't worry, i'm not burnout, i'm just so upset and tired of this platform being unreliable. Don't put all eggs in a basket. You will thank me later.

It's been a while since i posted here so i decide to create a new one. This is a recap of my year.

2023 has been a pretty good year for me. My personal life had some great moments and of course my channel. I made lots of video game reviews and retrospectives, lots of ups and downs, starting with

- Daytona USA console ports
- Celebrated PSP birthday
- "Went to Italy and almost couldn't make it back home". This is still a mystery on how i was teleported between each locations
- Celebrated Ridge Racer 30th anniversary.
etc

Like i said, things that happened were like roller coaster.

Unfortunately, due to the "Italian road trip" along with some other issues, i wasn't able to play much new games this year.

To recap, i only played like three new releases this year but i don't think they count.

- Kirby Return To Dreamland Deluxe (Just a remaster of the original Wii version)
- Resident Evil 4 Remake (Just a remake of the original version and people hated the remake for some reason)
- Horizon Chase 2 (This was released on IOS last year but finally got releases on Switch this year so i don't think it count as a new game idk)
- Murder of Sonic The Hedgehog (Just an April Fools game so i guess it doesn't count either)

However, i did played a new game just few days ago. I downloaded Sea of Stars Demo due to recent involving some "person". Honestly, i'm not an RPG fan but i still enjoyed it. Perhaps, i will try the full version next year.

And that's why i didn't do the yearly Games That I Played In 2023 video because i was ashamed at my achievement whilst everyone else were enjoying each releases easily.

So yeah, that's all i gotta say before we wrap up 2023. Hopefully 2024 will be better (please).

However, i did played some games that weren't released this year -

Daytona USA Circuit Edition/CCE
Daytona USA Dreamcast
Virtua Racing Flatout
Lucky & Wild
Mr Driller
Slipstream
F355 Challenge
RE4 Remake
F1 2009
Sega Touring Car Championship
Manx TT Superbike
18 Wheelers American Pro Trucker
Speed King Neo Kobe 2045
Vampire Night
Papers Please
Gradius Gaiden
Life Force NES
Gradius III SNES

Thanks for your support whether from the past or future, this is a relatively small channel and it's part of my hobby anyway.

Here's to a better year ahead. Thanks for reading. :)

Today, March 24th is a special day as it was the day Sony PSP was released officially in America. I used to own a PSP and today, i decide to talk about some of my favourite games on the system. I spent close to 2 weeks playing the games, recording gameplay, writing scripts, doing commentary and editing. It was pretty exhausting, so i hope you all can like and share this video if you enjoy it. Let me know your memories with the handheld as well.

Christmas might be over for me from where i live but i just wanna post a gift that i manage to get this year, i have been looking for this game for a while now and can't wait to try it out. Also, don't worry about that Pepsi bottle, it's just a regular drink that will accompany me during my playtime, unlike the other one that i already banished. Everything is safe now.........i hope.

Feel free to let me know what you all got for this holiday as well.

Just a heads up, since Dec 31, Saturday will be the last day of 2022, there would be slight changes to the video schedule.

The following three videos for the next three weeks will be uploaded on Saturday instead of the usual Friday.

TL:DR, no new videos until Saturday.

Thanks for reading

One thing i don't like about the new update for Youtube is that they added views in the playlist sections.

Previously when you add videos to a playlist, the video within the playlist will only show the video title itself. But now, they added a view count below the title and everytime i add a new video within that playlist, everyone can see which videos perform better or worse.

Thanks for the unnecessary update....sheesh
