I still think this is one of the best old thumbnails I ever did. This was during a time I experimented with doing "Let's Plays" for a couple of games, they did not do well, hence why you can't find them on my channel anymore.
Heya everyone! I need to access your hive-retro-mind! Think about really weird/unique retro PC games you have never really seen replicated or mimicked. Main timeframe is 1990-2010.
To my VERY PLEASANT surprise, it turns out you can install the CD version from 2002 of Age of Empires Gold Edition on Windows 10 and it'll work. That's a much cheaper alternative than the digital version which I'm not sure you can get the OG anyway 😁 (You need to run the install executable in compatibility mode with Win98/ME for the game to also run.)
