Earlier today, I heard from Elizabeth, a new subscriber asking about meal prep and it reminded me I hadnāt shared this photo of a meal plan board I prepared for George to use a few months ago when I took a trip to Paris and he was on his own for a few days. Heās pretty good in the kitchen but struggles when it comes to actually looking in the fridge and coming with dinner from all the ingredients packed in there so we tried a little staycation ātravelā plan for him. He didnāt need to think about what to fix each day and I noted which things he should make a double amount of so that he could have it another day. Pretty funny but it worked! The red notes indicated making two servings, the blue notes highlighted where to use them later in the week. Two plusses: he started with a rotisserie chicken and I had prepped the lentil stew waiting in the freezer in single serving sizes. He already makes a great salad dressing so no instructions needed for that! Hope everybody is enjoying a well-planned, cool time in the kitchen this weekā¦ Cheers, Caroline
