Just wanted to let you guys know what happened to my advent calendar, I've had a really high fever since Wednesday night. And as a one woman show when I'm out of action nothing happens. Now the fever's finally gone I'm still quite a bit aways from being able to work. So bear with me as I recover.

I still have a ways to go as far as watch hours go to monetization but slowly getting there hopefully. I was wondering if you guys would be interested in a little q&a with me and how would you prefer to do it? I could go live and do hair and makeup from some era while I answer your questions or I could take questions over here and on insta and prerecord. I have dyslexia so that sort of feels easier for me but not sure how you guys feel about it? Let me know your suggestions!

Last year I went on vacation with only my historical wardrobe and as much as I loved it I learned that for efficient packing it would be much easier to atleast mostly stick to just one era since the under things take up sooo much room! Also I really like the idea of a capsule wardrobe with mix and match pieces.
So my question to you guys is if I do a costumed trip this year what era would you like to see me do?

Hi! I'm Maria, a historical costumer and sewist with a passion for recreating historical silhouettes. My main focus is the 18th century to Edwardian fashion and most of my content is from those eras. I have some professional training in modern clothing construction but most of my skills are from a lifetime of sewing, knitting and other crafts. I started historical costuming in 2019 and have been ever since deep diving especially into 18th century construction and technique. Most of what I do I try to stay faithful to historic technique but I do occasionally make things faster but I try my best to always do my homework and keep it a conscious decision when I deviate from historical accuracy.
