Prologue: Jove's Japan Jams is a channel showing a variety of discombobulated shorts and videos with one common denominator-----they are shot in Japan and mostly about the good life we live in Japan
Hello everyone. My name is Jove and I’ve lived in Japan for over 20 years. I’m married, have a son and have been working in the hospitality industry-----i.e., preparing and cooking food in Italian, French and steakhouse restaurant kitchens.
Since I am in Japan every day and have a camera phone, I thought why not put on video some of what my eyes and ears see and hear on a regular basis in one of the best places to live in the world?
And since "jam" means something that one particularly likes and enjoys, here I am !!
There is also a Japanese word called "jama" (邪魔 / じゃま). which in this case means "nuisance"-----and that applies to any videos or shorts you watch that don't feature me because my American husband is jama-ing my channel.
I really appreciate any and all who watch my videos.
