YAY, fantastic Christmas surprise my Bones 6 Kickstarter arrived, We have a few days to Christmas so I will try and get a Xmas special video made up, I just stuck together the 30th anniversary Dragon in the picture with Sir Forscale for size comparison it was a bit of a struggle to get him on the base so I will do a how to stick this bad boy together when I do the painting video, anyhoo, Goblin King is a happy Goblin, well done to Reaper Miniatures not waiting until after Xmas to finish the UK orders ❤️

I still have not received the Bones 6 Kickstarter from Reaper Miniatures. It seems strange that this will be the last time I ever back another Kickstarter for any company and it turns out a complete flop ( heartbreaking) and to be quite honest very embarrassing for myself as an influencer for Reaper and for Reaper Miniatures as a company. I also have other news and that is I am now a full-time Carer for my Parents making them meals for the week and cleaning their house and all the things a carer would do to look after his Mum and Dad, with that said I will still be making videos but when I get time to do them, (Hoping one to two videos a week in the new year) I am no longer a full-time business painting miniatures but rather a Hobbyist painting for my own pleasure I had a great 10 years in business but my family comes first and they need me. I have applied for a carer allowance in the UK but that is really very little at £81 a week for a 35-hour-week as a carer and I am yet to be given the nod if I will get that or not so I still would love/need all your support to make my YouTube videos, I will be starting YouTube fresh in the New Year so you can still become a Follower or member of the channel on YouTube or please support the channel on ko-fi here ko-fi.com/michaelmordor Thank you all for the support the last 10 years and I hope to still be making videos in the next 10 years have a wonderful Xmas...Goblin King xxx

Still, no Bones Kickstarter really has been a disaster and after watching a couple of videos it looks like many people are not happy with many miniatures from the set, I think the main problem is the miniatures are warped which is normal and fixed quite easily with the hot and cold water fix. once my miniatures arrive I will be doing more Reaper Miniatures content and I will have my say. I am doing lots of Warhammer content at the moment because I am getting a lot of work painting Warhammer for customers and again even though I love Reaper Miniatures the minis, especially in the UK have lost the appeal from 4 years ago and I do not get as many Reaper commissions as I used too because of this which after covid messed up many small businesses like mine. So my video content is really based on the work I have at hand. I will try and post more content in this community page to keep you all updated, thank you all for the support.

Time to celebrate, I just had my Bones 6 email to pay shipping charges which means it can't be long now before I get delivery 😀 I love Reaper Miniatures and will always make video content on YouTube of their fantastic miniatures but this is my last Kickstarter from any company. time to try and paint the backlog and stop hoarding 1000s of unpainted minis #reaperminiatures #dnd

So happy I left social media, I might have fallen down with my business but to get away from all the horrible people I helped in the past who used me for their own gains has its own rewards I don't feel angry against these people just sad that the World has people like that in it. I will never recover in business because of them and I don't want to anymore I am quite happy doing what I do making the odd video and having some close friends is all I need. Strange how as soon as you get to a certain age (in your 50s) all the things you thought were so important like likes on Twitter and how many people view your videos suddenly don't mean shit anymore and when you look back on it nothing makes any sense, why was I so addicted to how many people should like my work, people I don't even know and have never spoken too. If any of you take one thing from this just remember every single one of you is special and the search for gratification on Social media will never make you feel whole, live your life and love your family and friends. ❤

Looks like the Bones 6 Kickstarter is starting to ship, I am still waiting on an email from Reaper Miniatures to pay the shipping and Tax on my pledge, this Kickstarter seems to have taken a lot longer to be completed compared to the last four I backed, Reaper also appears to be losing a lot of support in the UK I think with the price increase in miniatures and them no longer being the affordable option many are turning back to Games Workshop or like myself 3d printing the miniatures. in any case, I am really looking forward to getting my Bones 6 minis as well as the Dungeon Dwellers Kickstarter I also backed which I have no idea when that will be sent to me.
