Possibly a fairy portal. But I can’t tell you for sure. 😉 In real life this is a ruin of a Mausoleum at Finlarig Castle in Scotland. 💚🏰

I lllllllloooovvvveeee this fountain at Salisbury Cathedral so much. The patience you have to have to get a photo with no people in it is unparalleled. Truthfully you could go for weeks and it might not ever happen. This was a rare rare moment of glorious luck. CLICK PICTURE TO SEE FULL PHOTO! 💚🏰

When the sun shines on a gloriously beautiful castle ruin everything seems brighter! If it wasn’t for one of the owners of this castle, I’d argue we wouldn’t have the Tudor dynasty. With the help of Sir Rhys ap Thomas Henry VII was able to win the Battle of Bosworth.

I would definitely think twice about trying to attack a castle if the owner’s name was Archibald the Grim of the Black Douglases. Threave Castle was built in 1370.... it was even controlled for a time by Princess Margaret, Robert the Bruce’s eldest daughter.

I fall in love with Scotland more and more each day. The fact that I can get in a car a drive to such incredible majestic scenery never ceases to amaze me. Little Evelyn would freak out at the life I get to live. Thank you for exploring the UK with me.
