Over the last few weeks, I haven’t been active on Social as I’ve been working tirelessly day and night to cover the constant animal bills that keep piling up, but the financial burden has become overwhelming to the point where I’ve never faced such a deep financial crisis. No matter how hard I’ve worked, it’s never enough to cover the totality.
I tried everything possible to avoid posting this, but there is no other option and the clock is ticking, I have 3 days left (today included) to cover the bills.
We went from 50 cats to 92 this year, with some being disabled and living at the vet office. This surge has skyrocketed vet costs, food, and litter expenses among other costs.
URGENT BILLS TO PAY BEFORE JAN 1:
First Vet: $17,800
Second Vet: $5,225
Food: $1,800
Rent: $700
In the last 3 years, I put almost $200,000 of my own money into rescuing the cats because I just want to save them and give them the best care I can while trying to get them adopted. There are so many difficult days and constant emergencies and I haven’t been able to turn away an animal in need or say “no” to helping. I need your support like never before.
I try to wake up everyday, keep a smile on my face and continue to make a difference for these animals who deserve to have a wonderful, safe, and healthy life. But the reality is that every night, I struggle to get to sleep constantly wondering what would happen the next day. My only hope is that this post works.

Thank God, thanks to you I just covered the cats’ apartment rent today for the past month.
Following up on my cat rescues’ March expenses fundraising post, the total amount raised was $3,676.27 in 7 days.
Being days late on my payment, I just transferred $2,671 from Paypal to pay a chunk to the vet for the past month and the rest is unfortunately being on hold for 21 days…
I didn’t know that when raising a relatively considerable amount via Linktree, Paypal withholds the money for 3 weeks before clearing it.
I know for a fact that raising funds through a crowdfunding platform doesn’t have this issue (even if they take a bit more fees from every donation).
I started a fundraising campaign on PetFundr “Unleash Compassion to Heal Our Furry Friends' Vet Bills” to not have Paypal withholding the fund raised.
Only 51 out of 3614 followers made a donation. If you haven't contributed yet, I urge you to please help me cover the vet’s bill for the past month.
Please remember that there is power in numbers, if all followers came to put just $2.5, it would have helped me cover the whole bill.

I find it hard to post multiple times to ask for money, which I never did for over 4 years when I covered over $100,000 from my own pocket.. I just feel like I’m a bit tired at the edge of a cliff where I have only one door to knock on…I had no choice but to post.

If every single member helped with just $3, the fee would be covered.
I’m extremely grateful to each and every single one of the 32 individuals who’ve been generous to help me raise in total $3,290 to cover vet and cats’ rent expenses for March 2023.
I still have $7,966 to cover between vet and rent.

Here’s my story with Simba 🦁❤️
I stopped by a coffee shop late at night over 2 months ago to get some work done.
It was cold outside, the moment I open the door to get in the car, he comes out from under the car where he was hiding to probably warm himself up.
His head was shaking non-stop and there was grease all over his fur.
His head is shaking less now, hopefully his breathing gets better as well.

I would never share this post if it wasn’t urgent…
I’ve been living for the past 4 years a selfless life with no day off, non-stop going above and beyond my brain capabilities to provide everything for my cat rescues when putting all my dreams and aspirations aside, out of mercy and compassion towards these little beautiful creatures.
Behind the scenes, the days are tough, I'm running like a hamster, spitting blood every month to get back to the same place again and again. I try as best as I can to stay composed to be resourceful when many things float across my mind simultaneously, which is hard to stop… constantly reminding myself that tomorrow will be Great.
I have no stable business. I keep jumping from one side gig to the next to cover the cats expenses on a monthly basis and get left with barely nothing in my bank account.
After all these years, I recently I ran into creativity fatigue, no days off or travel for years, constant pressure to cover relatively heavy bills and an empty bank account with no savings after all the crazy amount of work I put in…
In the middle of all the noise around, I spend my days absorbing tons of information and spend days thinking until literally my brain hurts to connect the dots to come up with something new to sell to people I don’t even know or want to work with just to cover the monthly bills and it starts again with almost $0…and the countdown for next month bills starts again…
Every single month is harder and more challenging than the previous one because the number keeps increasing…
I’m taking full ownership for my decisions. That's why I never stopped when many others with my earnings would travel to a different destination enjoying five-star hotels every month and invest in various ventures that’ll pay off long-term when I really have nothing to fall back on in case an emergency happens, I live day by day working until my brain shuts down.
