Teenage Fanclub has been a favorite band of mine for decades and Raymond‘s guitar sound is a big part of my love for the band.
His guitar can be cranked in the mix - soloing for minutes at a time - and it’s never fatiguing! It’s always heavy and melodic.
I thought the song needed a “big solo” and I don’t do those, man.
I thought of Raymond and he said he’d give it a go.
And, you know, that’s not a pedal.
Those are stacked harmonies, played on top of each other!
