Sorry I haven't been uploading records recently. To be honest, I don't know why. These days, I just haven't been into the hobby as much as I used to. I'll be making some videos tommarrow and uploading them soon, digitizing and cleaning does take some time so bear with me :)

Hope all you oldtimers are doing well and enjoying the last day of summer!

P.s there's possibly a really freaking big and important record I might be getting in a deal from a collector in Europe. Huge thanks to Alternate&UnrealesedShellacRecordings for the tip!

Put your guesses below if you want!

Have a great day all you oldtimers and stay tuned for some videos coming soon.

Happy Birthday to Cliff (Ukulele Ike) Edwards! Born on June 14th 1895. May he rest in piece and spread the uke craze into the heavens.

He is one (if not) the best uke player of his time and really inspired me on my uke skills.

A collector I know owns a bunch of pictures of Al Bowlly (some very rare and the only copies). He has given me permission to post some of his items.

A rare picture of Lew Stone!

Just realized it's Al Bowlly's death anniversary, the 83rd year since he died during the Blitz in WW2. May he rest in peace and may his songs like Heartaches, Midnight The Stars and You and more live on!!!!

Happy Birthday Al!!! We love you here :)

Hi everybody!!! I would like to know the consensus on my new video format. I'm going to be uploading more digitized style videos and I wanted to know if you guys appreciate this style more or the classic style with the turntable visible? If it's mixed then I would do both depending on the day and time, since both take more time in different ways. Thanks guys and more videos in the coming days!

Hello, my friends and Oldtimemusiclovers alike!

I am on the hunt for a specific record that some of you may know of, Edison Bell Winner 5358 "Roll On Mississippi Roll On" by Sid Phillips and His Melodians. I have been contacting every collector I know on multiple platforms and want to spread the world here, too!

Some of you may have seen a copy sold on e ay just a few days ago for an absurd price. I'm looking to buy a copy for a slightly more reasonable price but still fair if it's in good condition.

Thank you, everyone, for reading this and a special thanks to Alternate&UnrealesedShellacRecordings for the wonderful chats about this elusive record!

More videos coming soon aswell....!

There's only one song that deserves two copies of and this one it for sure!!!! The victor one is in better condition since the HMV one has a damaged groove at the start that kinda cuts into the intro, however the victor one is pristine and is the one I play the most. Both cost a pretty penny!
